New Void species?

This is my first time actually doing thread, so please be gentle. This may also be long sorry but well, hold on boys where going in!

But anyways before you start saying, " No duh LANWhale, the Xer"Sai! Hello!?" I'm actually not talking about that species of Voidlings, but rather a possible new type of Voidlings introduced by the creation of a new item, the** Zz'Rot**. Before I go and explain why I think they are a new species it would be smart to tell you what this item does, activation wise. When you use the active part of this item you place down 3 dark purple crystals that are stationary and will occasionally spawn these Zz'Rot. So now lets jump into what a Zz'Rot is.

First off the body of a Zz'Rot seems to be made of some sort of dark purple crystal with some parts of it being a bright purple. It has the same shape of a real life beetle, having a singular horn on top jetting straight out with its eyes located directly beneath it but with the lack of wings most beetles have. To compare it to anything in game it is as big as a Malzahar Voidling, which puts it roughly around the middle of your ankle and knee, although not as long as a Voidling. Much like a Voidling it has pointed legs with the front 2 being smaller than the back 2, unlike the Voidlings you can barely see the joints that connect these legs tot he body.

Now then back to the certain areas of the Zz'Rot that are a different shade of purple than the rest. There are only 2 parts of the Zz'Rot that are a liter purple, the tip of the horn and the abdomen (a.k.a. his butt). Now at first glance these seem to be more of a way to detect that it is from the Void since many Voidborn, or Voidlings, have some sort of purple glowing part of them to show that they are from the Void. But with the Zz'Rot this is not the case, in fact by seeing how they interact with obstacles they meet I believe it is more than just, "HEY LOOK I HAVE PURPLE GLOWING PARTS! I'M FROM THE VOID RIGHT?!" When a Zz'Rot meets something that gets in it way it has a unique way of dealing with it...**it explodes ** but not like it stands still and explodes like we would assume but rather it starts running at the obstacle, jumps up, does a front flip and then explodes in mid air. When it explodes the explosion is a purple light and it doesn't happen from the center of the Zz'Rot but rather from the 2 light purple areas, the tip of the horn and the abdomen, meaning that those areas hold extreme levels of Void essence that when triggered cause an explosion that can seriously damage what ever is in their way, with the side affect of them dying.

So what about the portal they seem to come out of? Well like I said earlier the portal is made up of 3 dark purple crystals that have some parts, much like the Zz'Rot, a purple light. There are a couple of things we can derive from this form of portal.

• ** The Zz'Rot portal is actually how they are made, rather than they being transported from the portal threw these rocks.**

Well it is kinda of self explanatory this one but then comes the question, "Why such the resemblance to the Void?" Well what I would like to think is that the Void actually effected these crystal threw direct contact or by being near some Void essence released by some of the Voidborn. I mean with Vel'Koz shooting everything with his lazers hes bound to zap some crystals and maybe those crystals were able to absorb the energy and become the Zz'Rot portal/creator. But the better question is do these Zz'Rot still follow the same goal the other Voidborn do? Hard to say really because that differs from person to person, personally I believe the Void just wants to destroy everything but that is for another thread. This theory isn't to far fetched as it has a pretty reliable way of explaining how it is able to create the Zz'Rot.

• Much like the first one but that the Zz'Rot portal is a portal from the Void into Runeterra in which the Zz'rot come out of.

What can I say more to make sense of this one? I guess i can say what I think about this theory my self. Well them much like the first one some crystals probably got exposed to some strong Void energy and allowed the void to send Voidlings and the Zz'Rot threw. Whats stopping it from sending Voidborn as big as Cho'Gath? I would assume size really, the smaller crystal the smaller hole there is to fit threw, but the bigger the crystals the bigger the hole is. Kind of a weird way of thinking about it but it would make sense really, if I recall correctly Cho'Gath's lore mentions how he was "picking" at the edge of his world and ours, implying that a equally sized portal must be made for certain Voidborn to fit threw.

Alright then time to wrap things up with one last theory of mines. Now we know how the interact in the game but what about in the wild? Judging by their size they aren't defenitly going to be roaming around alone, but more in a pack, how the portal works also supports this. It doesn't just spawn one Zz'Rot but a whole bunch over time which lets me believe that when the portal does open up that it can only handle one Zz'Rot at a time which leads to some funny thoughts. Heheh a giant line of Zz'Rot waiting to get threw the portal heheh, besides the point though what this means that they most certanly live their whole lives in a pact in and out of the Void. There are 2 possible areas I can imagine these guys living in the first one in Shurima and the other in some caves. Why Shurima? Well for one Icatha is said to be underneath Shurima which is the direct portal into the Void or something along those lines and for caves...well come on caves may have crystals? Why not really. But just imagine how ruthless these things are, if they act like anything in game in which they go straight for the tower ignoring everything else, they are some thing to be feared by.
