It's kind of sad seeing Tryndamere getting a new skin...

Mostly because

  1. He already has a good number of skins under his belt, unlike so many other champs that have gone without a new skin for quite some time now and could use one just to make the mains and various others happy for a while (Cassiopeia Viktor Yorick are a few that immediately come to my mind, especiallyYorick )

  2. The skin is arguable if it's good or horrible (it'd be fairly decent to me if they changed the face mask a bit and removed or heavily changed the brown patch on his model), but overall it still suffers from the same animations that as almost everyone single other skin he has, including his legendary, but other than his Sultan skin which has far better animation overall. You'd think they would apply that animation to all of his other skins at this point.

This is undoubtedly suppose to hint at the Urgot rework reveal and release, but if Riot is going to do that, he better be close to hitting PBE and they need to fix this skin up a bit if they go through with it.

  1. a champ having a lot of skins (maybe due to popularity or being one of the original 40 champs) shouldn't be a reason to forsaken them from ever getting a skin ever never ever lol

yes champs like Ahri Annie TwistedFate as well as Tryndamere have a lot of skins but im perfectly okay with them getting a skin as long as the gap between their last skin is a decent one

so over a year difference is fine for me and especially if its a theme that works for the champion, i dont feel the need to give the people that main these champions the middle finger and say hey no more new content for you

  1. other champs who have been getting shafted in the skin department like Cassiopeia Viktor Yorick who havent gotten a skin in a while whether its because of their rig problems/model updates/cant find a good theme

they have announced a couple weeks ago that these champs (and more) will be getting a skin in the coming year so just hold on tight they havent forgotten

  1. for the trynd skin itself i agree with you on all accounts but i feel like he just has an old model and could use a small animation/texture update + his legendary skin is honestly just a really good 1350 skin at this point in terms of animation because at the time it got released it was when they just started making legendary skins

They've already said here http://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/2017/05/dev-state-of-skins/ that Cassiopeia Viktor Yorick Illaoi and many others will indeed see skins within the next 12 months. Of those though Cassiopeia is one that I'd say was held up a bid due to the fact that her updated Tail tech has finally launched in the current patch, so they wanted to fix her up in that aspect before they really committed to a skin.

As for hinting towards Urgot, that's arguable in itself as they have mentioned there is at least one more new champion to be release before him. So he's not quite here yet.

Still waiting on a new Illaoi skin
