Need clarification from lore team

I am a Shyvana main and rarely see any lore for her so I had some questions that needed to be answered. Since she is a half dragon half human, would she continue to have half breed children if she had relations with another human or would there be enough human dna to make the dragon form and appearance recessive?

Does the half breed status get diluted enough after 1 generation that her offspring can no longer transform into dragons?

Also what happens if she had a child with somebody like rammus or wukong? Would that offspring be able to transform into three different forms or would her regular form be more of a merge between the species?

Or maybe she just becomes sterile like a liger or a mule because of the cross species heritage she comes from.

No A half and a reguler would make a quarter.. or a halfie and a dragon would make 3 quarter..

Alternatively neither option works and she's infertile, as crossbred organisms tend to be.

Course magic could screw with that but I find the idea of Shyvana bring sterile due to being crossbred to be interesting at the very least.

Yeah the crossbreed (though technically I think the term is hybrid, two dogs of different breeds create a cross breed, whatever) infertility is neat in theory but it gets kind of silly when you delve into it.

Hybrids are sterile because their chromosomes don't match up, but to make them their genetic codes need to be similar in the first place. So unless we get some reveal that dragons are 98% similar in genetic code to humans, which is ridiculous, it's really better to ignore the science behind these things. It just leads to the setting looking stupid.

Actually IIRC to create a hybrid organism both parents need the same number of chromosomes, but beyond that I don't thin dna similarity is super important. Could be wrong though. Also things that look fairly different can have very similar DNA.

Sorry, that's wrong. Just look at one of the most well-known hybrids: mules, the offspring of a male donkey and female horse.

Donkeys have 62 chromosomes, horses have 64, leaving the mule with only 63 which causes the problem as chromosomes are supposed to come in pairs.

But they absolutely have to have similar DNA. That's why mules and ligers are a thing, but no matter how much you try you cannot get a half-lion/half-komodo dragon because their DNA is not close to compatible (also I assume it would be hard to get them to fuck)
