Idea and Theory for the New Lore (Whenever it comes out)
Does anyone else think that the cinematic "A New Dawn" could relate to what the Ret-Con of League's lore is going to be?
Let's take a look a two key things we see in this. The different teams and the ending.
(Evil) Team 1 consists of
and
(Good) Team 2 consists of
and
So, looking at the (Evil) Team, we can see a good deal of their comp are of Noxian's, the relative "Bad guys" of the current Lore. With them are Zyra and Nautilus, both who could possibly be considered Neutral or "Evil" due to their lore. Also keep in mind how a good majority of them do nothing to help their other teammates, see Draven getting rekt'd by Rengar. Nautilus wants revenge on the guys who cut the rope though since his lore is tied in with the IOW, although very slightly might get his Lore reworked as well, while Zyra is a crazy plant lady (Brilliant Reasoning is Brilliant)
Meanwhile (Good) Team, Leona is a main symbol for "Good", sacrificing herself for Ahri, who will probably have her lore reworked since it involved IOW, so we'll assume she's on the good side, since she returned the favor to Leona by luring away Draven and Darius. Next we have Graves and Jax, both seemingly normal parties, but since Graves did save Ahri from Dra(aaaaaaaaaa)ven's axe, we can loop him in with the "Good". Jax is a hard one to consider, since his lore will be reworked as well, and he doesn't do much to contribute in the fight other then lure Darius away. Finally we got Rengar, who wants to hunt the strongest prey. Considering who they are facing Rengar might purposely choose the weaker side to let him hunt the Strong.
So that's Character analysis done. But lets look towards the ending where the "Good" side has won. It shows them overlooking a drop where in the distance, they see a glowing structure. Supposedly our "Nexus" or so. But lets take a look at the cemetery where a once okay-decent game now lays.
Dawngate.
So Dawngate's lore goes a little something like this. Spirit portals have opened allowing the flow of spirits into the world. Spirits resemble many Traits such as Compassion, Fear, and other feelings/character traits. As indivuals bond with Spirits who share the same trait, they seem to start making alliances with each other.
In the game, their version of the "Nexus" are these Spirit Guardians. They seem to come through a portal, one which closes, sucking the Guardian back in, when the team's side loses. Each side has a different looking Guardian.
One has a Flame Guardian, one that wields fire and death as it's weapons. We'll assume this is the "Evil" since Flame has been used for the idea of Evil for a long time.
The other is a more natural looking Guardian, one that looks like it was crafted from nature with greenery and wood forming it's shape. We'll assume this one is "Good" since Nature = Life = Good.
Now what's the point of all that dead knowledge? You see, in DawnGates lore, some people are evil and some are good (Duh, thanks Captain Obvious) now it would only make sense that these Good and Evil characters go to the Guardian they most represent with. Evil being (Power, hunger, Depression) while Good being (Courage, Hope, Knowledge).
So what I'm getting at here is the Shiny thing we see at the end of the "A New Dawn" cinematic might represent the "Good" that our characters are looking for, hence why they are in a jungle. This "Shrines" as I will call them for now, beckon to the good and just, calling Hero's to them, so that they may help in it's message, what ever that may be.
Sooooooo, that's my take on the Cinematic despite it being released in the summer, and on the new lore. What you guys think?
This dude is behind a lot of battles.
