NEW THEORY: Take "Jihn". Bend top of J to the right. Switch H and I. What does that give you?

"Shin."

Ao Shin confirmed.

EDIT: I obviously am not paying attention and have no clue how to spell.

YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO SWITCH THE H AND I BECAUSE IT'S JHIN, NOT JIHN.

Double confirmed.

I could see this possibility actually lol. They've changed a lot of names so its possible.

Unfortunately, as much as I want Shin to come out and as much as I love him and dragons and the idea and everything, chances are, if there's a new champ, it ain't him. I just don't think they'd work on him and he'll prob come out halfway or more through 2016.

Still tho, would love for it to happen. Just chances are it won't :/.

But how awesome does a gun shooting storm dragon sound?

Gypsylord said that it was a champ that was iceboxed (put on hold), but that it wasn't a champion we had ever seen before.

Or maybe the storm dragon wen't from being Ao Shin to Ao Jhin.

I mean Azir started out as Seth the Sand Mage, and I think a rioter at one time said that between his (Ao Shin's) concept and official release that his name might change.
