@Riot, could we give Graves' upcoming innate, "Destiny", another name?
Heyo, Rito. So I'm a frequent editor on the League of Legends Wikia, and I would like to address a concern of mine regarding the name of Graves' new innate, Destiny. I know it's named so because Graves named it with TF in mind, and I get that. But there are few concerns I'd like to raise about this seemingly-small design choice.
First, and most relevant to the wiki's interests, the name Destiny causes some muck with our system. Because of how the wiki's coding is set up, the system automatically presumes the icon for Graves' "Destiny" is the icon for Fate's "Destiny". I'm not sure how or if we can work around this, but it'd suck to have whatever icon you choose for Graves' Destiny to go to waste while also giving the wrong impression (wiki user: "Hey, why is the icon for TF's ultimate the same as Graves' innate? That's lazy). This is the base reason for why I humbly request to give Graves' innate a new name: for the sake of the wiki. If you agree with at least this rationale and so make a change, it'll be enough for me. That being said, there's other reasons why I think "Destiny" isn't appropriate as a name for Graves' innate.
The second reason why I think it needs another name is because Graves lost that shotgun in your own Burning Tides lore event. He lost it saving TF, and once the two made up, they made a point of it to get a replacement and Graves knows a gunsmith in Piltover. You've shown you're not afraid to impact a champion's in-game identity because of the lore, Riot; Gangplank didn't need a whole new VO and base appearance to reflect lore progression, but you delivered. What better way to reflect the evolution of Graves' and TF's relationship than to show that Graves doesn't hate Fate anymore.
Thirdly but on a similar vein, you can explain Graves' new mechanics as his new shotgun. I mean, he needed a replacement by the end of Burning Tides, as I mentioned before. Since Destiny was a one-of-a-kind shotgun, the replacement wouldn't be a replica and thus wouldn't have the same functions. It could look the same, but it wouldn't be the exact same gun. So that's why the bullets only fire in buckshot now, and why there's room for the special new "powder rounds" utilized by Graves' new Q.
