i think taliyah is going to be a ADC over a mage
while i think we are overdue for a mage the story keeps mentioning a slingshot, that seems pretty adc-ish

It literally says she is a Mage in the short story... And I mean, she's gotta have some auto attack, it's better than her just throwing rocks.
Overdue for a mage????????????????????????????? We just got one.
Personally I dont think she is going to be a traditional mage. Thresh is a tormentor, sadistic entity who only seeks for pure agony and suffering to innocents, yet he is a support in game. Which means not every champion is playing their lore role in game.
Also that we know, Janna, Nami and Lulu are also mages but with low damage. So I think she will be a support. Story also strongly supports my argument, she didn't attack to commander, she just crowd controlled him and let Yasuo kill.
Last but not least, our last released champion is also mage (battle mage).
Here let me just make the ground open up on a tiger or make columns through an inn, but you know my strongest power? Throwing a rock from a sling.(if you don't get the sarcasm in my post then sorry for you).
I would say no, as she kinda stops using the sling after the tiger incident, or at least there is no mention of it.
Why? Because of the sling?
Mage with crowd-control with some ranged damage like adc? Okay Rito, we'll play her jungle-tank!

Summoning, manipulating, and controlling and weaving stone makes a very fun, thematic fit for a mage and a complete squandering of work for a adc.
shes either gonna be a top laner bruiser due to tanky rock nature. or shes gonna be a cc tank support simlar to taric. i see your new to riots way to saying spells with lore.
