I can't help it sorry guys, I'm addicted to editing photos. So the new Trist splash, definitely way better than the previous PBE iteration, still doesn't beat the live version, but once I started looking at it zoomed in, I really started to warm up to it, it really does look more like her in-game model now. Thing is in the preview you lose the detail in the eye giving her this plastic look to her face, this also happened with the previous PBE update. But when you look at the image in 100% she looks a lot more natural. And the explosion effects in the background are cool, also an upgrade. It's actually a nice splash. But something still felt off, and as I was comparing, I realized it's because in-game she looks vibrant, which gives you a that spunky cute look, while the splash looks a bit opaque which gives you more of a creepy feeling, it doesn't match her smile.

a bit deadish. I realize it's because of the lighting, but her skin's way too dark/desaturated in the original. So I recolored it trying to match it more to her model, made her hair whiter, increased the magenta and lowered the cyan in the background, to make it less grey, and upped the contrast.
