Three different helmets! - DJ Sona Ethereal helmet proposal.

Yes yes another splash edit, I'm sorry Riot/internet/fellow league art community. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, really, I mean I can appreciate all the love that went into DJ Sona's skin, and the fact that they took the time to make 3 different wallpapers, damn, that must have been a lot of work. It's a pretty cool skin. (this is without even mentioning the music aspect, I'm a huge Crystal Method/Pretty Lights fan [although Concussive is my fav beat])

Nonetheless, when looking at the 3 splashes side by side one thing that sticks out is how Kinetic and Ethereal have the exact same helmet shape. And the lower face showing helmet looks a lot less cooler than the full face of Concussive. So why not have the face showing helmet for Kinetic - the base/default (I get why they wanted to show her face), and give Ethereal its very own helmet shape? Not only will it be uber awesome to have 3 different helmet shapes for each mode, but a full on face helmet fits the Ethereal theme better, plus I think it has the potential to look at lot cooler than the face showing helmet.

This is something i edited in photoshop - an ovalish type helmet - but use your imagination, I think it could look way way better when painted by a professional artist, give it a more alien look that fits better with Ethereal. http://i.imgur.com/21wPnBC.jpg

Oh and just remember that this is an ultimate skin worth 3250 RP, it's still in the PBE, and I remember how they gave Spirit Guard Udyr a death animation despite all the work that had already been put into him. So I would really love to see them improve the third helmet. Just my two cents.

While I agree that having three diferent helmets would be perfect (I also feel weird that Concussive is the only one whose face is wholy covered), and I like your change, now Ethereal and Concussive feel too similiar...

I personally think all the helmets should be the same closed design like Concussive but with their own visuals but this is a cool idea too

I think the best thing for ethereal would be visible eyes and everything else covered, but they seem not to want to show anything as "personal" as eyes to keep up the Daft Punk theme.

I really like it. Don't know how to differentiate it further but I think the fully covered helmet looks cooler

Yeah I agree. Kinetic and Etheral are too similar, not just with the helmets, but with the outfits as well. If you look at Sona's cleavage (don't pretend you weren't looking there.) Her concussive outfit had a darker mesh around the breasts, while Kinetic and Ethereal are the same. If she had that helmet and a bare chest, that would be enough variation for me.

I think the easiest change that would please everyone is making them toggle-able. Make it so all of her forms can simply swap out of the full helmet into the half faced helmet via taunt like what we've seen on Rengar and Vi's new skin.

Sona needs a buff before anything happens with the actual skin.

I think Riot is diverting their our attention to the legendary skin over the champion itself.

She provides nothing for the team. Squisher than a plushy.

She needs to get her AP/AD/Amor/MR/MVSP aruas BACK.

Why not have some sort of facemask for her Ethereal form. No words needed for the soothing beat. It would cover up the lower part of her face from her chin to her nose, leaving the eyes free. It'd basically be an opposite to the Kinetic one, so that her helmet would change from covering the top half to all of her face to bottom half. Clear distinction between all forms and we get to see Sona's eyes.

I would think that they should give Kinetic sona like a pair of visor glasses/goggles/whatever they are called and keep the forehead open. That way all three are unique, cause all this does is shift the similarity of Ethereal and Kinetic to Ethereal and Concussive. And kinetic should get the visor glasses over Ethereal because a closed face visor seems more appropriate on a soft, vibey gentle "ethereal sona" than an upbeat sona.

I just generally dislike the exposed face. Those lips just give me a....dare I say it? A slutty feel. It ***IS *** an awesome skin but the lipstick really makes me cringe. Personal opinion, no haterino plz.

Edit: Lol, maybe make a cat helmet for the Kinetic tune for that Deamau5 theme?
