Now that's Spike has chosen to reveal himself, i can speak on it. He did amazing work, nailing so many takes so fast.
We split the records to three days to try and save his voice-- but each day he was willing to push it further than was rational. A total pro, he was quick to adjust to notes, totally in control of his instrument, and easy to work with. Hopefully, we can get him in to rework wukong someday (#notmyteamthough)

Just curious, what is the reason they have to reveal themselves before you guys can talk about it?

I assume it's some sort of contractual obligation, but I wonder why it's like that. Do you guys just want to make sure they want to be associated with LoL?

But he could use an updated lore & VO to support that lore. Plus in a couple of years, his visuals could fall below the visual standard at that time. And gameplay might need an update when that happens to if they don't touch him when do a roster update for Divers.

gameplay or visuals don't need an update, you can only make something look so good without causing the graphics lag problem it's fine and Riot shouldn't focus on updating champions just because they're old

I'm not talking about now, I'm talking in 2 or 3 years. In 2 or 3 years, Wukong could very well need a VGU like how Pantheon needs one now. As everything else goes up in gameplay, visuals & tech, things that are fine now would likely go down in comparison to all the new stuff. It's just that somethings fall down quicker than others.

Waaargh is talking about the future when Wukong falls below the standard.

this is the standard, you don't need to keep updating them it's fine if wukong looks this way forever people like how their champions look, (most of the time Nunu ) and changing them just because you can isn't an excuse :( but seriously, pls Riot fix Braums classic skin shield, the things supposed to be unbreakable but one of the horns on it is missing, why?!!?!/ ;-;

That's a very limiting viewpoint. The standard now will not stay the standard forever. The standard for a car from the 1960s in not the standard for a car in the current era. The standard for visual quality of films from the 1950s is no the standard for films nowadays. The framerates of video games in the 80s has a different standard from games in 2010. As the technology improves, the standard will goes up regardless of how you feel about it now.

As Riot continues to make new champs or update old ones with the new technology, the others champs made with the old tech WILL starts to fall behind in terms of visuals. Hell look at Pulsefire Ezreal, the 1st ultimate skin in the game & comparison to SG Udyr or DJ Sona That is a perfect example of how improvements in tech will make older things that were standard fall behind the new were things. As champ at the bottom of the visual bar now are brought up, older champs moves closer to the bottom. For a popular e-sports game like League, it's important that most champs are kept up-to-date with the current standard.

I'm not saying Riot should go out & change every champ right now, but eventually each & every champ have to be updated. Doesn't matter if it's one year or 10 years from now.

that is not an improvement, it is a downgrade just because you can change something doesn't mean you should
