So, with the recent Zed teaser, I noticed his icon is now animated. Does this mean every Champion is going to get animated splash arts and icons as well? Most of the newer Champions have had moving login screens made for them already, so it would just be a matter of cropping the animated login screens and coding them into the client to implement them into the loading screens and such.

maybe an animated splash icon could be something granted to players who achieved mastery 5?

This may be asking for too much, but at one point in the future I would want the same thing to be done with skin splash arts also.

Would be cool but remember, there a lot of champs with static splash it might take them a while to do.....

they should introduce them,a lot of strategic games and moba got animated portraits so why not lol

We don't know that's his new portrait for in game. I wouldn't count on it.

No. They propably made it as nothing more as a small gif. Implementing all this into the new client would be appropriate, perhaps but you have to account for toasters which don't run these things smoothly. There is no way in hell we are getting any upgrades to the current client anymore, other than some major bugfixes.

Wouldn't it be hard to do that for champs/skins that have them in positions that are clearly in motion? Having an animated portrait for that would not look right because they wouldn't be realistically sticking in that pose for long. Example: Runeguard Volibear
