We all know an Urgot rework is in the works, and that he might lose his glorious man-boobs with it. But with Riot slaying memes left and right, just what will come after that? Do we even have memes left to kill? To be honest now that I am thinking about it, all the jokes of the last years (Teemo is the devil. Banana Soraka. BLOOD MOON DIANA! (I'm still waiting for Moon Moon Diana tho) Nobody knowing what a Galio is. Graves' missing cigar.) have been built into the game.

Right from the top of my head I can't even think of a meme for Riot to kill... you guys have any idea?

I have to refuse based on my own experience with the subject - analyzing meme culture and its mechnisms are kinda part of my "job" (currently Master-Class in Media Studies, or how I like to call it, "Shitpost Analysis"). It will echo in the collective subconscious for a bit, in the next weeks there will be some "meta" jokes about this, but in not even three to four months this will become completly forgotten, even faster if Riot flushed out new content and with that potential memes. And as a meme is defined as an intersubjective entity of human communication it "dies" the moment it is no longer used and "is dead" no one understands it anymore.

The Graves Cigar meme existed because they took it away. Now he has it back, everything is "back to normal", so there is just no reason to talk about it anymore.

I wonder how many memes I have seen and already forgotten again lol...
