I know they are supposed to be rivals, but the ending of their battle comic made me think perhaps there is more?

I'm searching for ''we don't need sexuality in LoL'' people.
The fact that they might end up lovey dovey has been hinted a lot by Riot but never made clear.
I think it's implied that the skins at least were lovers at some point, they talk to each other like they've been intimate in the past, even when they say that they want to murder the other.

Even if there was, Riven kinda got impaled in the end anyway. Any romance would quickly die under those conditions of the relationship.
