So..according to her new lore karma is the living embodiment of an ancient soul reincarnated countlesd times carrying her accumulated memories in each new life...however if she uses her magical power for destruction something bad will happen to her and ionia..

For me karma is more than writers want us to beleive.... 1)By using the rules that has been established in runeterra thus far ...some beings(spirits , demons) exist in two realms the spirtual and the physical....so even if they are destroyed in the material world they continiue to exist on the spirtual one ....effectively giving them the chance to create a new material body!so what if... karma is the first and only human that managed to manifest a spirtual conciousness..that would explain the reincarnation part and the source of her magic...you see karma likely draws power directly from the spirit realm.... However there is a catch...karma may be extremely powerful but her power source can not be replenished...destruction magic likely needs huge amounts of spirtual energy...if karma uses them a part of the spirit realm will die and propably the same will happen to her own soul! The consequences of that may be the weakening of the borders between the realms or the decay of the land...due to lack of spirtual energy...remember ionians have a deep connection with spirits and beings like vastaya even bigger!

Bonus:she could actualy be the golden queen that trapped the darkins....as she propably existed during their time...anyway i would love to hear your opinions!

I think the part of bio that mentions the "considerable cost" of her using her powers for destruction may just be referring to the balance of Ionia. I get the impression that Karma's powers a strongly tied to Ionia itself, and for her to use her powers in destructive ways would cause her draw heavily upon that power source.

It brings to mind Xayah and Rakan and the beef they have with the humans of Ionia.

Reincarnated? Can you show me where the lore says that to you?

I checked her Universe page, and it said that she was one of the disciples most intuned with the spiritual realm. When Noxians appeared, her elders went to reason wih them (for they are pacifists), and the Noxians killed them and marched on the village. Karma was the only one to stand before them and used her innate reserves of spiritual energy to send them running.

Karma is the balance between war and peace because while the rebel fighters want to be stronger, and the monks wish to go back to peaceful tradition, she just wants to find a happy medium.

Also, she still counts as a leader.

Karma is now the Buddha/Avatar. I think it's very interesting that Riot could be using her to explore the more spiritual aspect of Ionian life.
