We have dem barrelz man, the gun lady, twist your imagination on which style the new pirate could be using. Oh and lore-wise I think everyone will agree with me that he has to be Miss Fortune's long lost brother. And to everyone who will say that MF isn't a pirate, that might be the truth, but her brother will definitely be a pirate and that's what would create a huge drama.
The thing is that riots design philosophy is pretty much making sure that every champ has his/her unique archetype
This pretty much means that Gangplank isn't a pirate,but he is THE pirate of the game.So something like the ninja trio probably wouldn't be made anymore nowadays.
That said however it is not like Gp covers all the pirate stuff at once. For example a davy-jones-like character would still fit into the game without stepping too much into GPs territory.
I do not agree on the concept of another pirate champion being MF long lost brother.
