Undo Trundle's Retcon

No. You'd be removing a character from the lore and replacing it with another. All the people that care about Trundle would be hurt by this.

But then Braum would not exist. No baby frost troll behind door. No Braum to save him. We would instead have a smelly old hag witch that threw mug in Trundles face.

Personally, I find myself thinking that this Trundle is much better than the old one, I never really liked old trundle, his personality and how damn ugly he was (Comon we dont need another Poppy!) Also, old Trundle was completely irrelevant, he was a rotting troll that had helped his kind, that was it. At least this Trundle actually has some connections and actual significance and a purpose to exist, he actually matters as he is the only one united with Lissandra. Also, I rather a power hungry good looking troll than an ugly exceedingly frustrating voice troll.

Overall though I have to say that I like new trundle a bit more than old trundle(I still like old trundle though).

The problem is we can't have both and well now going back would only cause more confusion. Technically they could get back to old trundles roots in 2 ways: Make Trundle undergo character development in his story that mirrors old trundles character development.Sure i doubt that they would change his VO,but that doesn't even have to be necessary if its more part of his backstory(or if it only solidifies his decision to rule them all) Or give us a new character who undergoes something similar(won't be a troll most likely though),but such a character could easily end up as a replacement scrappy...

I think amumu, nasus and renekton are in much worse shape lore wise

But I LIKE the current Trundle.

Trundle built a trash cocoon and emerged a beautiful butter-troll. Also he likes ice for some reason.
