I know there have been tons of threads about this recently but with Galio's VGU debuting today I think it's very possible we'll be seeing the expanded lore update for Demacia sometime soon (my guess being this afternoon).

Whyte Lyon1 votesYeah nah... Urgot's rework is a 50/50 for either a Noxus LU or a continuation of the Zaun LU. Since the only connection Urgot has to Noxus is he was born there then I have my doubts that an update for them will be justified. Zaun is much more prominent in association to Crabman, so I'd put my money on Zaun LU part 2.

Goes from badass one-man army-type guy on his own merits to an empty vessel for the "Aspect of War". Boo.
is turned into Green, Gelatinous Batman rather than the friendly, but willing to defend himself and others-type fellow that he was. Ho-hum.
There are more, but those are the two most prominent new things I dislike. So I'm looking at this possible new addition with hesitation.

after far as i remember pantheon was legit just a random dude who yelled sparta.
as far as his old lore he was just pissed the the institute didn't have a rep from mount targon

Can't say that based on things we've read, other League players haven't formed idealized versions of the characters they like to play. So, just see the above quote, which vision/impression of his character was based off his OLD lore.
If you want me to answer the question, I believe, Yes, he was supposed to be the strongest Rakkor or something like that.
