Is anyone that attached to the current Trundle's lore?

Old Trundle , when he was a diseased pariah and a runt, had a really passionate fanbase (possibly the most passionate in the game at the time) around his lore and everyone I talked to at least knew about it. And many had an opinion about it, some thought it was great and he was a character they really connected with, some didn't like how disgusting he was. But pretty much everyone had an opinion on him.

Nowadays it seems like most people don't know his knew lore and nobody really shows the same level of passion or engagement with the new Trundle. To most he is just the generic ice troll. As someone who loved his old lore, it makes me sad. His lore needs a complete makeover. And one the hopefully brings him close (or back) to the Trundle of old.
