The separation

People are wondering who this being is that split it self in two to have always have friend is. The most popular theory is that its some sort of being that represents death (or is death) which then becomes Wolf(Death) and Lamb(Life).

Which is all fine and dandy but i'm more interested in how it split it self into to two. It says by an ax implying that it may be a tree spirit kinda thing, which is also supported by the texture the swirls are on and the mask looking that they are made of wood. Which would meant he tree is death or something like that.

_But what if its not a tree? _

Then how did it split it self into two? Clearly just grabbing an ax wouldn't make you make another you. So perhaps the ax is a metaphor for the cause of separation? I still believe that this new champion is from the Shadow Isles in some way and was probably a spirit or a person that when the ritual was complete and the King summoned the Black Mist that this being was split into two. How? Maybe its spirit became corrupt but it still held onto its past memories causing it to split.

But i'm more curious to know what other people think the ax could represent.

I think people have it wrong.

The Lamb isn't Life. and the Wolf isn't Death.

They are both Death. Lamb is personification of the merciful and peaceful aspect of death. And the Wolf is a savage and violent aspect of Death.
