Honestly, Morgana is one the best charaters Riot has written !

First, I want to apologize to Riot Scathloke. Although the way he/she expressed himself/herself I get now what she/he was trying to say.

The greatest trick the Morgana ever pulled was convincing the Community that she's the victim and Kayle is the villain. Seriously, it's amazing how everybody got fooled and attracted by her charms. After reading her quotes and her story, she:

  • Pulls the victim card whenever a conversation isn't going her way, even when she isn't right.
  • Murdered a boy that wanted to arrest her. Even if she was innocent, she shouldn't have done it. She should have gone and defend herself. In the real world, we don't start mudering police officers when they come for us. Socrates didn't run away or murdered people when he was wrongly acccused. Morgana lost her innocense when she took a life of a person that couldn't protect himself, yes because Morgana is an Aspect demi-god and Ronas was just a human boy.
  • Favours Sylas, who although was innoccent, he is no more. He wants revenge and is hiding his true intentions with his "revolution".
  • Favours Zed, who we know has been messing around with the natural order in Ionia, destroying some places like the one we saw in Xayah's and Rakan's cinematic.
  • Speaks in a condescent manner to everyone who has doubt in their hearts to further grow those doubts so they join her too, like Lux and Jarvan for example.
  • Mistreats yordles, someone she should actually relate to.
  • Likes to inflict pain on others.
  • People say she just as a different point of view about justice when she herself already said she finds justice boring and doesn't care about it.
  • Talks about how blind faith is stupid yet wants us to believe in her right away.
  • Says the world is a beautiful place yet she wants it covered in her darkness.
  • Says humans are perfect in their imperfection yet she wants to hurt us.
  • Says she trusts humans more that divine. She CLEARLY doesn't know what humans are truly capable of. Humans and divine beings are not that different in terms of personality. She herself is also a divine being - why should we trust her?

Morgana utilizes her charms and plays the victims to further her own agenda with the objective of getting revenge on Kayle for rightfully whooping her ass. While Kayle might dislike humans, Morgana treats as her pets and tools to an end. She is very smart. Seriously, one of the best charaters Riot has written. The best villains are the ones that you find yourself agreeing with but you can't let that fool you! That's how the Totalitarian Regimes of the XX century began. She fooled many people but not me. Kayle was right all along and I can't wait to see her going all "DEUS VULT INFIDEL!" and clean Morgana from her heresy.

Also, everybody who disagrees with me is already under Morgana's control and did not listen to her own advice about how blind faith is stupid. Don't be surprised when she throws you at the wolves since she finds human mortality so cute.

Im a Morgana main since Season 2 so i love talking about lore but I have to strongly disagree with you. Neither of our angelic sisters are a 100% good or bad. Kayle is all about punishment and hunting down those who do not follow the law... Or her law. Morgana is about forgivenes. If Morgana detects regret, she might forgive based on her own morals. While Morgana believes in second chances , her sister kayle does not.

Kayle has extremistic beliefes and is following strict rules. If things are getting "out of order" she is comming for you. No mercy, no trial. Just her idea of justice.

Morgana on the other hand is acting more human like. She does not follow a set pattern and she makes mistakes. But she embraces that nature because it is what makes us human. Morgana values emotions. And thats why Morgana is more relatable to most people. She is not fooling anyone. The lore of Kayle and Morgana is about different point of views. Who is bad? Who is evil?

And thats why i love the lore. Its just like in real life.

Its in the eye of the beholder.

As much as I would like to believe in this, I still think that Riot just wanted to make her relatable.

I feel like the picture of Kayle and Morg would be a bit more well rounded if we saw some negative aspect to Morg's mercy.

Like, say, she gives someone a second chance over the protests of the people said person has wronged. Then it turns out the jerk just goes out and does something even worse. Mercy isn't always good. Sometimes it can be a deep cruelty to those who have been wronged by injustice.
