I know he's probably a criminal, but i feel bad for the Last guy in the WW Teaser

ModAcademy Kayn··68 votes·7,308 views

He was so close to safety, only to cut his hand on the wreckage. Even after leaving his friend for dead, he still doesn't make it :(

Edit: Boggins looked like Roadhog.

Edit Edit: Man, the League community is not very Utilitarian is it?

Edit Edit Edit: Edited.

And that kids, is why we don't touch sharp objects without gloves.

Because you'll bleed?

Yep. And what happens when you bleed? Say it with me now.

Warwick mauls your face off.

Joking aside, the rapid breathing near the end was fantastic in setting up his fear.

Baron of Bread10 votes

Alas, for that guy was wearing gloves. That's why you don't touch sharp objects without utmost care.

The stumbling on the stairs was great.

SociopathFriend2 votes

As someone who works in a factory, can confirm, gloves do not stop everything.

I actually feel bad for the first guy (Boggin), he was trying to slow down (kill) the bastard and that son of a bitch betrayed him to save his own ass, but at the end he got ripped apart too

ModAcademy Kayn26 votes

A Utilitarian view would argue that one life saved, is better than no lives saved (even if it didn't work out well).

Doomchem25 votes

Nah screw that, the scrawny dude got what was coming to him for dogging his mate. Boggin is the real MVP

ModAcademy Kayn20 votes

Report Boggin for int feeding plz

Yrzen10 votes

Naw, you saw how close Warwick was? No way Boggin was gonna survive.

Look closely. The door was very heavy and the scrawny dude couldn't really close it in time. Boggin held out his hand to yank it open, but it only slammed shut when Warwick slammed Boggin into it.

Looknook4 votes

The guy didn't really close the door though. He start closing it slowly like he wanted Boggin to make it and open it up. Then Warwick slams Boggin into it, shutting it and the guy freaks out and locks the door.

It might have just been a really hard to move door (heavy or has lots of friction), but I can see indecision making him close the door more slowly as well.

Boggin for next champion 2017.

You know it's a great trailer when discussions like this happen. That was truly the only scary werewolf I've seen in modern media.

ModKnightsKemplar19 votes

That's what I was just thinking. League's animators have gotten as good as their writers. Good shit.

Hufa1231 votes

Have you seen harry potter3?

Leetri3 votes

I hope you're not talking about Lupin, because that's one of the least scary werewolves I've ever seen.

Solitair2 votes

Lupin's hunt scene wasn't really very well executed. He wasn't this unstoppable monster. He was just a regular kind of wolf that happened to be humanoid, and got chased off by the wizard equivalent of a horse

Fasmodey23 votes

Voice acting was so good on this cinematic, I wish we had that live story and dialogues more in cinematics.

It is actually the first dialogue in a cinematic as I remember.

I said dialogue, aka conversation. Only Kalista fits to this category but It was so unrealistic.

THE RlVER KlNG3 votes

Within Tahm Kench's narration there was dialogue between him, the Gambler, and the bride, but I see what you mean.

Everyone's sayin he deserved it but I doubt those two were even friends. Probably just partners in crime. Plus, realistically, what would you do if you saw some monster sprinting on all fours, right behind that guy? He probably would've died had he not shut the door. I know he died anyway, but he had no way of knowing and made a difficult choice.

I didn't feel bad for him until it was clear he would have gotten away otherwise. Like, what shit luck

SzGamer2276 votes

Well they obviously trusted each other to an extent because traitor kept saying "I'm sorry! I'M SORRY" so even if they were partners in crime, they've probably been on several... outings... before. You wouldn't apologize for betraying someone you had just met and didn't trust at all ya know?

Supreme Senpai6914 votes

Honestly I took that to mean he was just a nice guy, really, and felt bad. He was probably just robbing cuz he's down on his luck. But there's lots of ways to interpret it and that's what makes a good story

CloudedLogic1 votes

Umm what?

I'd feel bad knowing I left someone to die...

YFisfabulousBRUH1 votes

not if you were to die alongside that someone if you stayed behind

CloudedLogic1 votes

No. Just because I am aware that I would have otherwise died, or that he might have died regardless doesn't mean I wont feel bad for being the one guaranteeing his death.

I don't get a clean conscience just for telling myself "There was no other way..."

Danjeng11 votes

What an ass though. His friend pleaded to him to hold the door, but he just closed it like a wimp. Warwick is single target (probably will stay the same in the rework). If the two of them stuck together they might of had a chance.

His friend is like a jungler, who comes to gank, and the PoV guy is the stupid laner who doesn't help but is busy farming.

ModAcademy Kayn6 votes

One does not simply have a chance against a werewolf like creature with chemtech running through it, with the only weapon being a gun.

Altonius Amakiir3 votes

Yeah, they weren't even champions, they were regular people. The guy realized that if he waited for his friend they wouldn't be able to close the door in time, so he made the hard decision to abandon his friend.

General Esdeath 6 votes

But Warwick was probably fed. You saw how fast he ran? Someone fed him enough he could get item 3117 before sunfire.

Danjeng2 votes

EDIT: I just saw WW abilities. He got feared, no wonder. I don't blame him now.

Mogarl7 votes

Boggin should have been less zealous fighting Warwick. Fleg should have sat down and coward to avoid being seen.

The Soulforged3 votes

I liked it, but there was way too much camera movement to the point where I couldn't tell what was going on. Like action scenes in movies nowadays.

ModAcademy Kayn14 votes

Shakey POV cameras are typically used in horror movies though, as he was running away stumbling on things, tripping and such. Out of feeeaarrrrrrr

At least this is justified since it's PoV, it makes less sense in action movies when a third person camera is all shaky.
