Some folks at tumblr claim they noticed something while playing Jhin... it'd love to verify that myself, but I'm busy with work now. Also, I can't find anything on the boards or Surr@20 yet, so it must be something super fresh.

Here, let me quote what the dude wrote:

((Just played Jhin, and I herd a foreign voice, saying something similar to these lines:

"You.. enemy.. me.. enemy…” Something something… “vermin” It’s a deep male voice, sounds a bit crazed. Like that person is struggling with himself and his hatred towards others.

NEW CHAMP TEASER?

Has anyone else heard these things or am I going crazy?

Same here when playing Nasus top. Even tho I also had very high pitched lines that sounded squeaky not only deep toned ones.

As there doesn't seem to be a thread yet the moment I'm writing this... LET'S GATHER ALL MATERIAL THAT WE HAVE HERE, OK? :D

If it was just that Jhin case alone i'd say it was a high noon quote but Nasus got it too... plus i cant find that quote at all on Jhins lol wiki page. Its not a Void skin Illoai bug either (Used to be a bug where you were able to hear her quotes sometimes if she was an ally, idk if it still exists). Do you know of any of the other champions in those 2 games?

Umm O.O, I might have found it... I think it's a lore hint...try hovering over Sion Sion when putting his picture onto the boards...

Aww... and I was so happy when I stumbled on it (looking for champs the voice may match) and it matched to pace of the other lines you heard... The only champ we know is crazed (if it's not a new champ) is Renek but idk what the voice sounded like. It makes sense in the Nasus context but not Jhin. hmm. I still hope it's a lore event though; it's probably too early for a champ teaser no?

Uhh, we have a LOT of crazy champions actually. DrMundo Jinx Twitch Singed (he's literally called the MAD CHEMIST)... We have an entire CRAZY FACTION to be honest...

And now let's remember that BOTH the Bilgewater Event and Jhin's lore had an epilogue pointing towards Zaun/Piltover...

Crazed not crazy. >.< I'm saying ones that have nothing else left and act very much on instinct, blinded by their [rage and twisted pov] in Renek's case and [lack of memories with only hate left] in Sion's case. Maybe DrMundo fits there too. These ones Jinx Twitch Singed have a purpose or desire for their madness.

Twitch and purpose? He is literally a rat bathed in toxic waste. He hears voices, hallucinates, has paranoia... I see no desire or purpose here.

Jinx is by all possibility a product of the same human augmention programm that Vi was, with the difference that Vi is a saboteur/combat engeneer and she is highly specialiced combat tacitician (the main reason Vi and Cait never caught her). Her metabolism is probably super high, explaining why she is that crazy (imagine being on a caffeine rush constantly) - and why she has no fat or boobs.

Singed... we are talking about a person that would dump an experimental chemical weapon on allies and foes alike, just to see how it works. There is no goal or purpose here, other than "he was curious how it works".

I think of it this way: If I was to poke them with a 39.5' pole, would they care? Sion and Renek wouldn't think twice about it and I would soon be missing my head, the others wouldn't really care I think.

Twitch's purpose is foraging for useful stuff, eliminating what gets in his way as a byproduct of spreading his "stench"

Jinx wants chaos because she likes the feeling, it drives her. Doesn't care 'bout us.

Singed just doesn't care one bit about others either and just wants to see what happens, thus people think he's crazy.

But we are drifting from the topic,** tell me more of this quote you heard**. Do you happen to have that shiny tumblr thread link?

Twitch might think you are one of his hallucinations and shoot you right into the face with his crossbow.

Jinx would probably poke you back - with a rocket. And then probably proceed to laugh her ass off.

And Singed... well... "Oh what a FINE test subject has appeared. Ähem, here, drink this!", while taking notes on a paper called "organic dissolution formula".

All of them would be really, really deadly if you tried to poke them with a stick ^^

This patch they fixed the warding quote audio on some champs that were not playing it due to stealth ward removal and those quotes are currently global.

Yes, that happened before, but that's not it.

I just had a chance to tune on the game just now (workload overkill <_<) and out of habit I had music running in the games I played. Gonne pay more attention I guess...

But there was something amongst the lines of "I'll show them all..." or something of a female voice. Cassio was in the game, but "show" is nowhere in her quotes... (and no, sion was not in the game I think - also, as I said, FEMALE voice ^^)

The tumblr stuff is definitely the ward quote bug; yours must be something different. There also wasn't an Illaoi as warpenguin555 suggested?

I expected that too, but unless our Draven suddenly got a sex change that game, the voice just didn't fit. I have played this game for over 4 years now and heard champions VOs so often - if there is something that's not familiar I notice that ^^

As I said, it might be a teaser for a new champ. Wouldn't be weird to get a female champ now when the most recent releases were Aurelion (gender: sassy space dragon, but is referred to as "he"), Jhin and Taric, the epitome of manliness.

Also, Jhin's teaser was put on Youtube more than three months ago. So getting a teaser in the next time wouldn't be weird...

Yeah, I know we're due for a female, but that means it's an ADC though -__- we only ever get the adc teasers early QQ

Sounds like the ward placement bug that's affected a few champs lately. Was there a Sion in the game, by any chance? He's got two lines for placing wards that are similar to what your friends thought they heard: "Show me the enemy," and "a trap for vermin." And Sion definitely has a deep male voice that sounds a bit crazed.

It's certainly not a champ teaser, whatever the case. Riot would be a LOT more obvious about it.
