I don't get Poppy's 'hero' shtick

Call me crazy but I don't see how it's appealing to be a champion who wants to find someone else to be a champion? When I think Poppy (or at least, old poppy -- better theme, worse kit basically) I imagined you guys would stick to her general theme of being someone who knows they're a badass, not someone who's completely oblivious to it.

Having her mention the 'hero' in every other line is just fucking grating. Especially when it's even in the shop lines - "Yup, just what the hero would have bought." And it's a shame her VO is so bad, because her kit is pretty great, even if I lament her offensive nature being erased.

who thought it'd be interesting to take a champion who's confident and boastful and make them into.. this? It just seems tacky as hell.

To be fair, i have to agree with her VO.

First: She only have 6 minutes of VO... its noting in comparison with the new champions or the other ones who got a VO (Sion has 13 minutes)... at least she has more quotes than Tristana and Ekko.

Second: The Hero thing is super annoying... like Azir and SHURIMA.

Personally, I love everything about the new Poppy. Before, she looked like an angry black lady mixed with a smurf, and now she's adorable af http://news.cdn.leagueoflegends.com/public/images/pages/2015/popu/img/poppy-wallpaper.jpg

I think you take this lore stuff a little too seriously.

I don't know, in the Voice Over she seems pretty confident in her abilities ('Could you maybe get out of the way? You know, so i don't have to flatten you.'), it's more that she's curious about this 'Hero' she's tasked to find.
