Sometimes in music, you can excuse something that sounds similar, but artists still get sued. Other indie companies try to rip of popular games, steal character skill sets but reskin it as a unique character, and that tends to get DMCA'd also.

Given that "Spartan Warrior with a shield/spear" is a very common trope, poses aren't copyrighted (nor is that pose especially uncommon), and the unique visual elements of the designs are dramatically different, I don't think this is a problem at all.

Nowhere, because neither Riot or Hi-Rez is the original creator of the "Spartan Warrior" design. It's a common theme just like an armor clad medieval warrior or a mage with a pointy blue hat.

By the way, you forgot to mention that this is Achilles' Battleworn skin and not his actual base model, which isn't similar to Pantheon's base model in any way, shape, or form.

Also, obligatory mention:

Pantheon release date: February 2nd, 2010. Achilles release date: February 27th, 2018.

If you want a ripoff, Mobile Legends Bang Bang literally copypasted Garen's "JUSTICE" Cry from his Ultimate on one of their toons. Not even the slightest voicemod changes, literally copypasted it.

The composition of the two illustration do look very similar. But the difference is: the riot one got a whole bunch of useless in game champion quotes interactions that make pantheon a bad pre god who dishonor battle.
