Gangplank's Splashmore looks like a dwarf rather than a pirate

I really like the look of the model (aside from it being a bit overweight) it's borderline but It can still be read as a Pirate and that makes it a really unique character.

His splash howevcer just looks off to me. Really bulky and stocky figure with that particular type of long beard, "armor" and big guns just reads "Dwarf" to me.

What do you say?

Or perhaps like, a middle aged chubby man trying to be a biker or smth.

Idk, I don't like it, but his 'old' new look is pretty damned good, so nothing to be upset about really. Just more options for people who are into that sorta look.
