Harrowing won't have the same feel anymore

The Harrowing is an event to commemorate Halloween festivities in the world of Valoran.

But Riot decided to make Harrowing when they want.Don't you see?Harrowing was special because it was that spooky time of the year that we were all waiting for, not only to play some cool new or old gamemode, but to grab some spooky skins that are unavailable all time of the year.Why can't we celebrate Harrowing while all people over the world are celebrating Halloween?We don't want to play Harrowing during Easter or any other date.What's gonna be next?Not celebrating Snowdown in Christmas and celebrate it on mid July?Please reconsider your decision because it continues like this, Harrowing will lose all it's magic.

Yeah I really liked the seasonal thing and now it feels like there isn't an event which makes me sad.

I would rather they cancel the lunar festival stuff and keep harrowing at Halloween. I, like the majority of people on the NA and EU servers have no attachment to the lunar festival but do to Halloween and the harrowing.

I mean I'm fine with both running but if their resources are so stretched that they have to start dropping one but not the other why not run harrowing on western servers and lunar on eastern?

The harrowing map already showed that bilgewater had 3 harrowings in a year,the black mist grew in power over time and can now come multiple times a year(that doesn't have to mean that it wasn't a yearly thing before). Not to mention that runeterra-time =/= real-life time....

My only hope is that they come up with a Halloween specific event to replace the Harrowing for next year and maybe hold the LCS in September. I've been playing for less than 2 years now and have largely missed every single themed event due to other obligations. Even then, I'm extremely casual because I am a single father of three and might get to play 5 (bot) games a week and occasionally more. This was the first event that I had a clear calendar (and saved rp to boot) to play and get all the goodies only for this to happen. Disappointed, sure, but I'll still play and purchase the skins when they are released this week since themed events aren't the only reason I play this game for but will love the hell out of the skins when I do get to play. The worst part about this for me is not being able to play on the Halloween Rift map this year. Hopefully Snowdown will still happen?...
