It's likely the same deal as the Yorick rework - someone starts working on it, they get into it a bit and then get pulled off to work on something with a higher priority. There's also the issue with Riot trying to release high-quality stuff. Remember, they didn't have any ideas for Lux floating around when they made the promise for an expedited skin. That means they had to ideate, start modeling, testing, debugging, etc. And if they realized at any point that the Lux skin wasn't that great, or didn't live up to its theme, they're back to square one.
Besides that, Riot's been trying to prioritize champions that have fewer skins, or who haven't gotten a skin in a while. It's been two years for Lux, sure, but she still has a plethora of skins to choose from. It only makes sense that Lux isn't a priority.
Still sucks that we were promised an expedited skin and had it thrown to the wayside though.

And diana still doesn't have a Skin that fits what she is (lunar godess? Come on that was ofensive...)
So yeah, do you REALLY need another skin? it would be like Katarina again (2 last skins? unnecesary since they are some champs they need it more, like... jayce, zac, viktor, etc...)

It's not about that; it's the principle of holding Riot accountable to their word. I don't even play Lux. While I would agree about Diana, ZAC, & others--justice is my big things. I'm tired of unkept promises & so forth.

I'm like the Batman of the LoL Forums, I don't play Lux but you can be damn sure I'll demand justice when they promise expedition & years go by.
Placentas1 votesThey are pretty cool skins I own all the Lux skins but they're not super cool. They're all basically just different military uniforms, with the exception of Spell Thief and Sorceress lux, and in those two skins she's just wearing a hood (which I love) and is basically Queen Blue Minion.
I would love a skin that changed up her theme a bit like how Syndra basically got her Nami skin. It would be cool to see a Pool Party Lux where her abilities are water themed, maybe throw a life-saver as her shield. Her ult could be a cool looking rainbow jet of water. Water bubbles for her E.
Or maybe a Corrupted Lux/Blood Stone Lux skin. It would be cool to see what a really p*ssed off Lux would look like. I'm imaging a really cool black & red colored ult.
