What are your thoughts on the new Arcade skins?

Personally, I like all of them and for the first time I think I'll be buying all of them when I get back to League.

Why do i like them? I like them because they delve into specific mini-themes, or basically genres of games that I grew up with being the son of an arcade junkie.

What do I mean by mini-themes? Inside the Arcade theme, Hecarim has Guitar Hero/music games as his mini-theme, Miss Fortune has shooters like Duck Hunt as hers, etc.

Ezreal - I definitely feel his is the strongest. In case you haven't heard the name Square Enix ever he's got a very RPG feel and he's very closely designed to look like Cloud w/ one of his emotes being based off the interface of FF7. Overall I have high hopes for this one as Ezreal doesn't really have a ton of unique or interesting skins and this definitely fits the bill.

Corki - Space Defender. Some of the most entertaining arcade games IMO were Galaga, Galaxian, and Invaders (or was it Space Invaders?). Very unique, especially among the Arcade skins (the most generic Arcade skins being Sona and MF and possibly Ahri's new skin) feel and the 8-bit on his Gatling Gun looks really crisp. Also that Invader kill emote was glorious.

Ahri - I might be a bit biased since Ahri main but I felt like her skin was definitely the lowest quality of the three. From the preview, the mini-theme wasn't there at all. it simply looked like a, as I described, "mismash of arcade-goer paraphernalia that doesn't really fit in." You've got the cat ear headphones which picked up a ton of popularity in Japan, a Game Boy advance slung at her side, and an outfit that looks like it was taken straight out of Avril Lavigne's closet. The only saving grace is the periodically color changing tails which is definitely an effect I want to see Riot implement in the game.
