As A Soraka main i have to say the new skin feels off.

I absolutely love all of her other skins, but when I saw this one, my response was "meh". It somehow doesn't feel like Soraka. The idea behind it is great, but the execution seems off.

She looks so bulky all over like she is wearing heavy armor, especially her hipps and forearms. Even with the robot parts, Lissandra looks slender a lot more like her original than Soraka.

Also I don't like what you did to the bottom part of the crecent on her staff. It is a drastic change to the overall shape. One that is also very prominent in game.

The color Scheme is a bit weird too. The neon turquoise kinda clashes with the rest of it.

She's now the official Heal Bot. I'd totally buy it if I played Soraka just for that reason.

Well, the idea of a skin is to explore different ideas of the champion. If the intent to make her bulky due to being a robotic, I can see why they were aiming for it. If you think about it, she's a walking heal-bot and tends to run a lot to aid others. So a big set of legs could be ideal to tell the story.

Not all the skins need to feel like the champion itself... in fact, that is why the Skins exist in first place: To give a "different feeling" to the player.

Reading through your post and replies, I feel you're just nitpicking. The skin looks fine to me. It's cute, it's adorable, and it's pretty. The colors are fine too. Also, just to point out, if you look at Soraka's splash and her models, she's always had thick hips. Lissandra is generally thin, too.

The only thing I really agree with you: the Crescent shape on her staff is off, and her forearms are too bulky.
