Mordekaiser and the Ruined King
Now, here's something that's been bugging me since the Bard-Teaser. Back then it said that the king did NOT give in to the undeath, his symbol being a broken crown.
But when the ruined king is not on the undeath's side... where the hell is he? And what powers/curses did he get from being at the epicenter when the borderline of life and death was blurred?
Ok, let's change it to another interesting figure: Mordekaiser, who is the lord of the undead hordes, but some some reason only controls metal. Hell, even his title is "Master of Metal". Usually we think that there is some kind of dude in that armor, no?
How about a different approach: Mordekaiser is actually a metal manipulating ghost, dwelling in the armor. And inside it, there is the one man trapped that could have the strenght to stop the isles: The ruined king.
The armor doesn't protect anyone. It's a prison.
Why I think that the ruined king is inside? My theory is that the ruined king's simple presence messes up death. So people that die around him have to serve him, because he's technically still the "king" - even with Mordekaiser just using him as some aura item he locked inside his metallic body.
That's my theory so far, what do you guys think about it?
