When I first read somewhere that Demacia has winged cavalry, I didn't know whether they meant griffons or something; the wording was ambiguous. And as it turns out, they do.

Yep. These are the Silverwing raptors from High Silvermere in northern Demacia. Apparently there are very few people who have been able to befriend and ride them. So I imagine Demacia's winged cavalry is not actually very large in number, but rather a small elite section of the military.

I'd love to see one of these raptor knights as a champion in League!

That's most of Demacia's army TBH. Small in number but the individual soldiers having great skill.

I straight up main Quinn, but damn, I feel like a champion like that would easily overshadow her in terms of human + bird partnership. And...but damn, I still want a demacian raptor rider champion.

I think if Quinn ever got a VGU, this would be what they'd want to rework her into, assuming they don't just make it a skin and/or new champion. I'd miss having a falconer champion, though.

Apparently Master Yi can switch from melee to ranged, has a blind, and can execute people in a point-blank AoE around him lol
