So we are doing canon multiverses now?
Like, I'm ok with that Riot, just please don't do the way comic books went with making up so many dimensions and extra worlds that fans just stopped giving a shit. Just focus on a few ones, like of course "Regular Runeterra" and "Modern" (aka Star Guardian, Academy, Corporate Mundo), Future (Odyssey, Project, Mecha, Super Galaxy, Battlecast, Program, Arcade, OH GOD SO MANY), and High Fantasy (Coven/Elderwood/Ashen Lord).
Just focus on a set number and give them priorities - and please, PLEASE make "regular" your number one priority. Like, don't go off making up a dozend alternate universes when you still have to finish building your first one.
On a side note it is easily possible for all worlds to be equally "canon", mostly because the world of Runeterra has a certain artificial element to it, mostly indicated in the worldrunes - if something exists since creation, but is only a thing that can be "created", it requires a sentinent entity to actually write them. Writing cannot appear out of nowhere. So it wouldn't be weird if something in the void created several "bubbles" in the eternal chaos that defies time and space to will several universes into existence, that due to the similiarity in which they were made show the same patterns of events and personalities appearing, even if with small differences.
I should make a longer post about the potential creation of Runeterra, the nature of the Void, the nature of the universe's "progenitor" (does it stand in opposition to other void entities? Or is making universes just their way of agriculture, so they grow food to eat later?), and all that stuff, but is is 1:30 AM here so hell nah.
