Just curious, do Katarina and Nidalee really need boob windows in ALL their skins?

Is cleavage too important of a character trait that it can't be excluded in a single skin or something? You know, like the masks are for Shen, Pantheon, Malzahar, Akali and Kayle? Wait, scrap those last two, they have exceptions, so their masks can't be very important for their concepts I guess. Wait...

interestingly enough, most modern womens clothing is designed this way. maybe you should get out of your chair for once in your life and walk around.

Yes, and for more than just player sex appeal.

It's (essentially) canon that Katarina uses her cleavage as a means of distracting male opponents, making their eyes wander where they shouldn't for easier kills.

As for Nidalee, only reason she doesn't go topless is because of the ESRB. Why would a jungle woman need clothing to begin with?

Yes. Boobs = good. Stop questioning good things fool.

It's some cleavage.

Does it really matter that much?

We're playing this from an angle where by it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

While I mostly agree with you, this isn't the best place to find sympathizers. Fanservice is popular here, and this is mostly pretty innocent. Kat and Nid are never really going to be bastions of practical armor design.

Just curious, is there really a need for this? Women wear what they want, it's your problem if you objectify them, and so it's not their clothing that needs to be fixed.

Interestingly enough, there was a similar outcry from a group when the new Smash Bros. was released. A group was crying foul over the design of Zero Suit Samus. They demanded that her objectifying designer come forth and explain. Sure enough, Nintendo sent her designer. A woman, who just thought that that's what Samus would wear, without being told to do fanservice or some shit.

So maybe there's a problem, but it's most likely inside your head. Most people don't objectify their characters or play for the cleavage. And if they do, then changing these skins wouldn't change a damn thing, as they're just sad, pathetic individuals.

Maybe because it is a game that is funded mostly by males? Riot is a business and their biggest priority is to make money. This allows them to do so the best way, so of course they are going to do it. I don't see any Coors commercials with half naked male twins (link below if you aren't into football and don't get the reference). Bottom line is that a company advertises to sell. I don't see you complaining that the magazines are geared towards a women audience, because do you really need to put Tatum on the cover with the headline "hottest men alive"? Don't see people bitching about that (Tatum is pretty damn sexy, though, and I'm straight lol).

Let the designers make what they want, if you don't like it, don't purchase it or support them. It is not hurting anyone, so there is really no need to bring it up at all, other than seeking attention.

"In a game mostly played and funded by males why do they keep making skins with loads of cleavage and boob windows?"

Gee boss I dunno.
