does anyone else still hate varus new lore compared to the old one.

I do think more people possessed by an ancient magical being has been done to death in this game now.

I also think the three guys in one body is pretty silly. Also makes the Darkin look dumb, since apparently the fact there are two humans are what's keeping Varus under control and not going on a murderous rampage. Darkin boy would have been better off just picking one. But no. He had to take the lovers because... plot or something.

That said, I wasn't exactly chomping at the heels for more of old Varus either.

I still think the old Varus lore made for a more compelling story-seed. But I'll admit that I have a soft spot for ethically ambiguous eldtich abominations (which the old Thing in the Pit was) and have an almost irrational hate for Darkin.

Lore team is as bad as the new Star Wars script writers. Just glad I have a Varus skin so when I play him I don't have to see the trashy pinup splash.
