@Jaredan How many Moons does Runeterra have?

So, I was looking through the League of Legends Wiki, and on the page on Runeterra, it mentions that it has a couple of moons.

However, Diana's Lore and Quotes state that there's only 1 moon.

I understand the off hand comment about there being a couple moons was likely stated back in the earliest days of League, but with the introduction of Aurelion Sol and the Diana and Leona Lore changes, I figured this would probably be a good time to ask about this.

So, how many moons does Runeterra have? 1? 2? More?

It might be connected to Mount Targon "realities rift" because it's the only place where the word "moons" is recurrent.

It's interesting because it might mean that the Blood Moon" has some significance outside of skin line and a "simple" moon eclipse.

If it specifically states 1 moon, I would go with that. The Runeterra lore is more outdated and is therefore obsolete to a degree.

Reading the new lore, I got the impression they're aiming for Runeterra to have 3 moons now. Look at the new symbol of Mount Targon, there are even three circles around the mountain peak other than the main, which probably represents the Sun. Later on, it's still said that Diana represents one moon. Maybe she's the avatar of only one of the three moons, most likely the largest one. This is the conclusion I came to, with the info I found.

I just looked back over Targon's Lore on the official Site, and it looks like it again makes mention of "Moons" Plural.

Since this is the case, and it's intentional that there's more than one moon, This is actually a relevant question to ask.

Like any place of myth, Mount Targon is a beacon to dreamers, madmen and questors of adventure. Those who survive the arduous journey to the foot of the titanic mountain find a sky shimmering with celestial bodies; the sun and moons, but also constellations, planets, fiery comets that streak the darkness, and auspicious arrangements of stars. The people living at the mountain’s base believe these to be aspects of long-vanished stellar beings, creatures powerful and ancient on a scale beyond human comprehension.

That's taken DIRECTLY from the NA Targon Site before you click on any of the portraits for Targon's champions.

Definitely seems to be more than 1 due to "moons" being plural. I'm going to assume for now 2 with a possibility of 3. The question now is which Moon is Diana tied too?
