I refuse to acknowledge anything Riot's "lore team" releases

Because it is obvious that they don't give a shit anymore.

The great deletion retcon? Why should I acknowledge this when most of the champions directly involved with the League and Institute are still unchanged? Instead of accepting this half-assed (ore more like one-tenth-assed) attempt at retcon, I'll just assume that it never happened.

Shurima event? It does not exist. Since it is painfully obvious they don't plan on updating any of the champions involved anytime soon, for the sake of canon I'll pretend it never happened.

Those flashy videos that explain nothing about the character? I won't watch them anymore. For Ekko, when I see a good piece of fan made story on the boards (and it WILL happen eventually), it's canon in my eyes. I'll probably be creating a collection of best works for every champion and upload it somewhere soon to share.

It is a shame that stories made up by fans are 10x better written and longer than those written by supposedly professional team that gets paid for it.

They made their own bed, so now they are going to have to lie in it. And honestly...I doubt they'll get the rave reviews they want. Because they've delayed too long with nothing to hold us over. Nothing at all.

Silence is what lost them credibility before. And now, silence destroys them once again.

For me Institute of War shall always remain the real LoL lore until the day the new version is completed AND being actually better than what we used to have.

Which I doubt they will really make it. But hey, surprise us Riot, counting on you.
