Why Riot is releasing so many 1350 RP skins?
I get that the quality of skins increased, but I thougth that 1350 would not become the standard price for skins. But nowadays, every skin is costing 1350 RP. In fact, the last non-1350 RP skin released was Chemtech Tryndamere, which was released 2 months ago. Other than this skin, the other non-1350 RP skin released were the April Fool skins (Moo Cow Alistar, Renektoy, Pug'Maw, and Super Kennen), which were released 5 months ago!
it is making harder to buy new skins, especially because some of them are worth 975 RP at best, such as Pentakill Kayle and Soul Hunter Kayn.
Also, the World Championship Winner skins were released costing 1350 RP, which is weird since every other WCW skin costs either 975 RP or 750 RP. I am talking about the SKT-T1 skins released this year. They aren't even worth 1350 RP (on my opinion), and they used to worth even less than that, because they were lacking in special effects (special VFX for example). People complained, and instead of Riot just reducing the price, they added the special effects. This is not actually a bad thing, but it feels like they did that just so that they would not need to reduce the price.
And now they are releasing Championship Ashe at 1350 RP. This is the first Championship skin they are releasing at this price. Every other Championship skin costs 975 RP at best.
What is happening to have this "RP creep"?
