Jinx was chosen because she embodied the elements of the rebellious anime girl on a team of other girls, but her vocals didn't quite meet where they needed to be. Her vocals have been completely overhauled to preserve her personality, but put a more wholesome anime spin on her.

According to the leak, Lux is getting an ultimate skin called Elementalist Lux.

The going theory is that it will be a "by your powers combined" version for the Star Guardian line.

I personally don't think it will have anything to do with the Star G line as Ultimate skins are their own skin.

That is definitely an option.

I think the main reasoning behind the theory was the timing and how often some shows make use of the trope.

Well yeah, the timing being that the leak was part of the Star Guardian skins leak but clearly isn't meant to be part of 6.20 like some thought. I just dunno.

Elementalist just sounds like something very different from the Star Guardian skin. Maybe still having that Captain Planet "by your powers combined" thing behind it though, as that could be pretty cool.

If this was true, it would have been revealed with the new skins. There would have been no purpose in steeply staggering the reveal if it was so tightly connected with the Star Guardian line.
