And not Jinx? I mean, serioulsy. Why is she even a Guardian? She's a one-girl walking ISIS.

Jinx was chosen because she embodied the elements of the rebellious anime girl on a team of other girls, but her vocals didn't quite meet where they needed to be. Her vocals have been completely overhauled to preserve her personality, but put a more wholesome anime spin on her.
According to the leak, Lux is getting an ultimate skin called Elementalist Lux.
The going theory is that it will be a "by your powers combined" version for the Star Guardian line.
