Is Brand in some way related to Ornn?

Dunno, just kind of struck me as a little weird; them both being fire spirits (I know Ornn also controls earth, before anyone comments) and having ties to the Freljord (I know it's not specifically stated where Brand is imprisoned, but do we know of any other frozen wasteland in Runeterra?). I know Brand is supposed to be related to the Rune Wars, but that honestly asks way more questions than it answers. Did Ornn take part in the war? Was his intervention the direct or indirect cause for Brand's existence? Did he already exist, but is somehow related to Ornn through their powers or other means? Did Ornn forge Brand's cage? Just thought I'd get these thoughts circulating. Be sure to tell me what you think![slayer-jinx-wink]

If you look at the updated Shurima lore. When Xerath plots to sabotage Azir's ascension. He distracts Nasus and Renekton by releasing a fire spirit (Brand) from his sarcophagus out in the desert. Giving him enough time to ascend himself, but we never heard of what became of the fire spirit. All we know is that when Nasus and Reneketon came back, they trapped Xerath inside the same sarcophagus Brand was released from.

Brand will need a lore update in full before we ever truly know what he is, or how he traveled such distances from Shurima to the Freljord. My guess is that he was trapped in the ice by either Lissandra or possibly Anivia.
