[Game mode suggestion] Nexus defense
First of all I would like to say that this game mode wouldn't be event game mode (for limited time) but permanent game mode like dominion, aram etc...
Let me describe you how would this mode look like since champion select: (team size 5) 1) Difficulty selection - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Hard, Legendary
**2) Champion select **- classic champion select but different or edited summoner spells, low cooldown flash, AoE ignite, exhaust, low cd teleport, more AoE heal etc...
3) Map itself - there would be one nexus in the middle of map with certain health regen and scaling hp, armor and mr whith more waves. There would be 4 lanes from every corner where is path leading to unknown from where monstres are comming every wave, there would be 15 - 30 waves, based on difficulty, legendary difficulty wont add more waves but will add epic boss in final wave. Monsters are similar to minions, but they look more evil, they get stronger with every wave. Boss will spawn every 5 waves, every boss has unique abilities and mechanics to fight. Every wave takes 30 seconds (time when monsters are being spawned), boss always comes first, then 30 seconds pauses between waves/60 after boss waves. Recall is instant.
**Lore/location **- frogotten part of divine lands - undiscovered/forgotten part of world of angels, monsters are not of mortal origin, but they are killable in some way. There would be a lot of floating stones and many amazing enviromental objects that are not found in world of mortals.
Bosses: 1) Big 4 headed wolf, has basic attack similar to jungle wolf, has 2 special abilities - every head will breathe fire and second ability is dash with slow and moderate damage.
2) Wraith Lord - Big unique wraith, not much similar to wraiths we know, he uses big hammer. Has 3 abilities - Volley of shadow bolts with high damage; Hammer smash - Stun and moderate damage; Dark nova - deals damage around him.
3) Majestic giant - final boss for beginner mode, armored big guy with lance. Has 1,5 attackspeed and 3 abilities - Stab - stabs random champion, dealing fatal damage; Bloodbath (passive) - gets healed for 10% of max hp if champion dies by his hand; Sweep - AoE with moderate damage
4) One winged beast - Golem-like monster with crab claws instead of it's right arm and one angel win. Has 3 abilities - Brutality (passive) - his attacks sometimes throw hit champion behind him (like singed), dealing moderate damage. Earthquake - Slams ground with his golem fist, strongly slowing all champions and dealing huge damage. Sentinel's ascension - jumps to some champion, dealing huge damage, knocks all champions hit, targeted champion is stunned on spot), has low cooldown.
**5) Dragon of ages **- unusually big black dragon with spiked armor. 4 abilities - Massive flamethrower - channels massive firebreath towards some direction (mostly towards nexus, but nexus can be damaged only by basic hits of monsters) dealing nightmare damage, staying in for whole duration is not even possible for tanks, champions hit are slowed by 70%, although this skill can make party wipe it can be easily dodged, dragon will charge it for 2 sec before launching it and indicator will show.; Tail slam - Strong AoE damage; Hunger - Dragon starts eating random champion, if enough damage is dealt he will stop eating it and champion is saved, if not enough damage is dealt he will deal 999999 true damage to that champion - you can save yourself by zhonya or intervention, this skill has "root" effect rather than stun.; Infernal storm - Dragon takes flight, bombarding huge area, similar to gankplang's old ultimate, but bigger and a bit stronger.
6) Former Archangel - Fallen angel lord, he is master of sword skills. Has very strong cleave (area damage) melee basic attacks and 1,5 attackspeed. Has 4 Abilities - Cursed hand - summons giatinc hand to deal strong blow, stuns all enemies hit and dealing huge damage; Madman's blade - Similar to fiora's old ultimate, dealing fatal damage; Edge of time - starts charging power for 2 second, the emmits very stron AoE damage around himself, capable of one shotting dps's. Flight - Time to time goes to flying mode, can't be hit by melee champions and melee abilities, his attacks will become similar to righteous fury.
Legendary - Demon Queen - Spawns few seconds after killing Former Archangel, she might be beautiful, but she is deadly. Deals strong fire DoT with any basic hit or ability, basic attacks are mid-range AoE damage. Has 5 abilities. Firestorm - scorches area around herself, dealing moderate damage and slowing all champions hit, some locations will remain scorched for 5 seconds - dealing damage and applying DoT if champion enters.; Infernal protection - shields herself, gaining strong sunfire buff and her basics hits are strenghted.; Meteor summonning - channels for 2 seconds and meteor falls into location marked with huge indicator, everyone standing in dies - can be survived only with intervention, undying rage, stasis etc... OR just moving out of indicator. Fire wave - low cooldown fire wave with moderate-high damage, especially dangerous for low range champions, hit champions are also slowed by 60% for 2 sec. Timesplitter - Channels for 1 second and cutting time and space in long line, mostly towards nexus, instakills hit champions.
4) Items - items are much stronger here, it is normal for champion having 1500 AD or 3000 AP. Attack speed is not limited.
5) Champion abilities - Some champion abilities are stronger here. Most of utility abilities buffed for this mode. (Soraka heal - stronger, no hp cost; Intervention - longer, shorter cooldown etc...)
**6) Monster aggro **- Monsters are attacking all champions around nexus, if champions are dead or away they will attack nexus.
7) Jungle - there is jungle between lanes with monsters, buffs etc... there are no jungle bosses, everything can be cleared solo.
