1350 or 1850 RP skin (or ultimate one? but people could disagree)

  • Aurora vfx for Q, different Q casts may also have different combinations of colors.
  • Aurora vfx for E, different hits may also have different combinations of colors. http://imgur.com/lejxkVd plus minus like this
  • Color combinations would be usually made of 2 color spectrums, like yellowish + red-ish or blue-ish + greenish or purple-ish + blue-ish etc... (dunno if it is gramatically right, but some typo guy will tell me, I am sure)
  • Ultimate - summons 3 spectral Valkyries protecting the target
  • W animation not much changed
  • She can also have aurora wings instead of classic ones
  • Support author on the link if you like the artwork ^^

And please tell me your reason why would you disagree with this skin if you are willing to vote down.

Maybe you would say "she has many skins, why should she get new one?" Well the thing is that 3 of them cannot be obtained, one of them is just recolor - like chroma, I dont count it as skin, so in total she has 2 skins (battleborn and aetherwing). I think it wouldn't be a problem to have 2 legendary skins, why? For example Chogath has two legendary skins.

Considering Valkyries chose the honored dead to go to Valhalla with them, why would Valkyrie Kayle be able to make someone invulnerable?

Fk it, I obviously don't know enough about Norse gods. Looks good, that's all I care about. Varus has arc light skin and that makes about as much sense as an obese ballet dancer in a wheelchair.

Yes please if you could, tyvm. Well I am interested in nordic mythology and yeah valkyries have a little bit different purpose than saving dying ones, but that is not problem, what if we say that warrior's duty in world of mortals is not yet fullfilled? Leona's purpose is pure protection and she got valkyrie skin too so I dont see any probs :P

Damn, I claim to be pagan and I still didn't read Edda, I need to fix that asap.

You can tell someone knows about armor for women when they know that you only get a form fitting breast plate because your boobs are getting squashed and causing you discomfort with the normal sized armor.

Nope, but this is League of Legends, where things are sometimes a bit different from reality, so halo wouldn't be a big problem.

While I can't seem to find the exact passage in the Prose Edda (Edit: It might have been from the "Poetic Edda" work now that I think about it) I am pretty sure that somewhere in there one of the poems talk about how the Valkyries always appear to be bathed in "Ever-Shifting Light" when they ride into a fight and in old depictions of angels they didn't have halos either their heads radiated light. So yeah if the image of angels can be changed just a little, why not Valkyries. Also to why the Valkyries would protect people there is a passage out of "Helgakviða Hundingsbana I" near the end where "Helmeted valkyries came down from the sky, the noise of spears grew loud, they protected the prince. Then said Sigrun, the wound-giving valkyries flew, the troll-woman's mount was feasting on the fodder of ravens". This happens towards the end of the poem and talks about how the valkyries again descend from the sky, this time to protect Helgi amid the battle at Frekastein. After the battle, all the valkyries fly away but Sigrún and their war wolves (referred to as "the troll-woman's mount") which consume corpses of the fallen so they don't rise again as Draugers.

Why make her abilities with Blood? Valkyries are supposed to be heavenly and angelic (And that's what Kayle is). Maybe if there was a Valkyrie Kayle Skin, she would be wearing a white robe/toga-ish Dress, with Golden Armor and Boots on. And her sword would be golden with yellow gems on it. Her abilities would be recolored a brighter shade of yellow. As for her face it would have glowing yellow/white expressions like her eyes, which would be glowing yellow and white. Also maybe for her recall she could slam her sword into the ground and kneel down with her head on the handle, and then at the last second fly upwards with her giant wings and land in spawn.

Or her abilities can have many colors, yeah I reffer to Freya from Smite now, but you must admit that her vfx is way too amazing. I somehow combined Valkyrie with nordic shieldmaiden (yes was watching Vikings series recently), that happens :P

1350 IP skin, vfx would be changed too, every offensive skill would have bloody effect, like cutting with E wouldn't be fiery but would just cause blood splashing from enemies hit. Q vfx would be like spiritual sword.

So if we where to make this a Ultimate skin here are some of the things that we could do with the extra leeway we would have.

  1. First off get rid of Kayles own wings and make her ride a flying mount, Valkyrie's going to war would ride giant winged wolfs, they would only ride their Pegasus when retrieving worthy souls to take to Valhalla.

  2. The Valkyries have been tied in with the aurora borealis so you could add that into her VFX.

  3. For those who are wondering why Kayle should get a Valkyrie skin when her ult saves people, the Valkyries would wonder battlefields looking for not just souls to take but also souls to save. So when Kayle ults with her Valkyrie skin you could have two more Valkyries fly down and protect the target.

I can add more if you want but yeah this is just my opinion.

While I was reading comments I realized that aurora colors (and different colors for different spell hits/casts) for her effect would be very nice, but dunno maybe it is kind of vfx for ultimate skins :D and Archangel nope, in fact her basic skin is.
