Flexible Skin Tiers
I find a few situations play out a lot with skins: Either you don't have enough RP for the super cool Legendary or Ultimate skin (or really any skin, but in general, above 750 RP), or you wish they had done more with the 750 RP skins, like new particles and what not. Well, I think a lot of players will enjoy this idea. Presenting...
#Flexible Skin Tiers!
At its foundation, Flexible Skin Tiers revolve around the 750 RP skin tier, and work up from there. You have the standard 750 skin which includes the new model, recall animation, and if needed, quality of life particle updates. Nothing new at this point, right? Okay, this is where it gets fun.
The difference between 975 RP and 750 RP (since we can all do math) is 225 RP. The difference between 975 RP and 1350 RP is 375 RP.
This is where we introduce the different tiers, nothing terribly special. Unless you like cool stuff.
For a ~225 RP (or possibly more) upgrade, your flexible skin tier 750 RP skin could be upgraded to to the next skin tier! Its simple really, but for those who can't quite grasp the concept, here's an example:
Example Skin: Sweetheart Annie
750 RP: New models for her and Tibber
UPGRADE
975 RP (Total): Now includes pink flames, and little heart particles, maybe the smoke effects and such make hearts on Incinerate and Molten Shield, her Disintegrate could be a flaming heart. If she doesn't already have one, a recall animation where if she's alone, she has a tea party with her little toy bear, she tilts her chair, or rocks back and forth, and falls back into a hole as she backs. When she arrives on the spawn platform, she drops onto the ground fallen over, gets up, and dusts off her dress. With Tibbers, Tibbers picks her up, swings her around, and tosses her in the air as she backs, but is at the spawn platform to catch her.
Since 1350 usually deal with Voiceovers, I don't think it'd be necessary for a skin like Sweetheart Annie to venture into the 1350 RP or higher range.
What makes Flexible Skin Tiers so cool, in my opinion, is that you would get to chose how all in you want to go! The prices are a bit more adjustable to you, and you could upgrade as you became able, maybe by saving up leftover RP from several skin purchases or something. There's a lot of possibilities, I think, but I'm uncertain if it would be valuable from Riot Games' standpoint. What's your opinion? Leave your thoughts in the poll and discussion bellow, along with what you'd like to see with Flexible Skin Tiers, if they became a thing. And as always, thank you for your time!
