Maru: The Paper Misstress
Backstory: It is a dark night filled with stars yet no moon, lit only by the local authorities lanterns as they stare upon a horrendous mass murder scene. In a distance, a hooded woman looks onward with a ninja as her hostage. “Art, such beautiful art!” the woman says, staring at a gruesome string of bodies forced to cling together at their time of death. “And they say he’s just a murder!” she hisses in anger. The woman wears a simple black Ionian dress with white origami cranes painted on them, her head covered by a paper mache hood covered in eerie runes. She turns towards a ninja tied to a chair, quivering in fear he speaks “The order will stop his evil, and you will be next to pay for-” She quickly turns her head, revealing her pale blind eyes which pierce his speech like a knife, cutting him off. She then follows up in a cold calm voice “I was trained like you, while I never gained the honor to fight along Shen, Kennen...” Thoughts of wrath begin to stir in her next pause. “ or Akali...” A vile grin creeps on her face, then as she looks at the ninja, she composes herself. “I have far surpassed them, and know as I look upon the art of Jhin, I can’t help but find the challenge to capture his grace.” Paper begins to fold itself out into her hand. She removes her hood, revealing a beautiful face that came straight from a painting. “I feel that this should be a fitting end after all those-” She smiles “Paper cuts” The paper folds into a life sized replica of Zed, it then strikes the ninja, leaving a Deathmark on him. His heart begins to pound faster, whether from the mark, or the realization of how powerful this woman was, the ninja did not know. The heart pounded faster, ready to pop, he should have listened, Shen was right, he was not ready. “It’s, just, not-” His heart explodes, now the woman will have to make an Origami representation of him. She spent a long time learning of him, but what to make. “A pond that seeked to reflect.” She smiled, she was almost as great an artist as he was. She turned to the art he made and said to herself “But not yet...” She continued to fold, by tomorrow, she would be gone, and the authorities will have another case on their hands

Physical Description: Smooth beautiful white skin, pale blind eyes, long sleek black hair, and a body so slim and beautiful it’s picture perfect. Mental Description: On the surface she is calm and cold, but hides an inner rage that would melt all of Freljord if she was to let it out. Voice: Calm and sweet, when anger gives way it gains a violent hiss to it.

Abilities Passive: Poetic Justice: After 30 seconds of not using one of her spells Maru will enhance that spell, giving it a new effect. This does not affect spells on cooldown.
Q: Paper Sparrow Swarm: Maru creates a swarm of paper sparrows and after 2 second sends them in a target direction (Range: 390 wide, 450 long) dealing 20/25/30/35/40 (+.3 AP) Magic Damage every second for the next 5 seconds, slowing them by 35% while in the area. Empowered: Paper Falcon Swarm: increase the base damage by 10, AP Ratio by .1, and enemies hit are now snared for the duration of the effect. Cost: 90/110/130/150/170, Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds
W: Paper Cutter: Maru summons a sword made of paper that she throws in a straight line (Range: 100 wide, 690 long) after 1 second of channeling dealing 80/100/120/140/160 (+.7 AP) Magic damage to all enemies hit stopping after the 3rd one. Empowered: Paper Slasher: Double the length of the spells range and increase the total damage by 50%. Cost: 70/80/90/100/110, Cooldown: 13/12/11.5/11/10 seconds
E: Paper Flower: Maru Creates a Paper flower that she will use to mark a target enemy champion (Range: 500). When the marked champion is hit by one of Maru’s spells the mark will be consumed causing the enemy Champion will take 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% of that damage as true damage over 5 seconds. Empowered: The flower will now bounce to up to 3 additional targets (Range: 390). Also the bleed damage is increased by 25%. **Cost: 30/45/60/75/90 Mana, Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds.
R: Origami Art, Mimicry: Maru sits down and focuses on creating a lifelike Origami replica of target champion for the next 5 seconds. After that she summons this Paper clone that lasts for the next 25 seconds and cannot be destroyed. The Paper Replica runs on an Intermediate level AI and can use abilities but not active item effects, it’s abilities are only 50% as effective as the target it was copied from. At the end of the Duration the clone will use its Ultimate Ability before dieing, this does not activate on death abilities or those that prevent death, passives that effect death also do not work (I.E: GA, Karthus’s passive, Kog'maw's Passive, ect.) Empowered: Origami Art, Perfect Mimicry: The clones abilities are now 100% as effective as the targets. Cost: 150/250/350 Mana, Cooldown: 100/95/90 seconds

Taunt: Builds an Origami crane, then crushes it “I hope you made peace with your family and friends” “You are this paper, easily crushed.” “I hope you don’t mind paper cuts?” Joke: Tries to fold a paper crane, but drops it on the ground mid way “If you’re expecting a paper joke, don’t, it’s tearable.” “Why did paper lose the card game, because he folded” Empowering a Spell through the passive: “Patience pays off” “Worth all the time in the world.” Dance: Tangos with a Paper Jhin Copy Death: Turns to a pile of Paper Crane’s that fly off Basing: Makes a massive Paper Crane and flies off “I go elsewhere, but I will return.” “Need more paper.” “Art takes time, and I have all the time in the world”
