...Blood Moon Diana!!! (Reposted on the right board this time ^^' Old post: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/k72vsG8K-first-baker-pantheon-than-little-devil-teemo-we-all-know-whats-next) It will happen eventually, maybe not with the next patch...or the patch after the next patch, but it will happen. And I bet it will be legendary tier, something like "Blood Moon Queen Diana", the incarnation of the Blood Moon, leading a demonic army into battle, so the Blood Moon will never set again! http://pm1.narvii.com/6050/e1c1a7d51aad32d53397c60d15e3914a24b6cf06_hq.jpg Just look at one of the many amazing concepts for her (I'm not the artist of this or any of the pictures I use in this thread)! And imagine her with bloodred skills, a demonic voice and a new awesome recall (I would love to see her starting with her normal recall animation: Praying to the Moon god (or godess?), well in this case the Blood Moon god/ess, before a red moon light shines on her and lifts her up into the sky, with the Blood Moon symbol on her head and her eyes starting to glow in an immense red!). And like the PROJECT Yi and Ashe legendaries and Star Guardian Jinx, I'm sure they will give a few other champs a Blood Moon skin aswell! "Which champs are going to receive a Blood Moon skin?", you ask? Well...idk, but there are 3 champs, who I think, would fit the theme perfectly: http://leagueofvideos.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/jon-comoglio-bloodmoonjhin4.jpg In my opinion Jhin is a perfect pick for a Blood Moon skin (Concept by Comoglio)! The BM theme originates from Ionia, thats why a lot of Ionian champs have one (Shen, Akali, Kennen, Yasuo) and guess what...Jhin is also an Ionian. The BM skins depicts those champs as some demonic like creatures and I like to imagine that over time, Jhin became well known in Ionia for his...uhm "art", and the people started to believe that only a demon can create such a horrific work. Just the fact that her Dark Spheres can be turned into little Blood Moons is reason enough for me! One example is BM Kalista: Her story is known all across Runeterra and her BM skin is how she is seen in the Ionian culture. The same thing can apply to Kindred. Death is present in every culture and BM Kindred would show how the duo is imagined in Ionian culture.

I think that with how Riot is trolling, it's most likely the next 10 new champions' release skins end up being Blood Moon, than Diana getting one.

But I agree that Jhin and Kindred would be great for the skin line, too. ^^

Thats an awesome design too! Like I said in my post: The picture I used is just one of many amazing concepts for BM Diana out there. I had a hard time choosing one of them for my post, but I thougth this picture comes closest to how I would imagine BM Diana.

I could have sworn I've commented on this already but I'll assume I just forgot to click post. My top three future blood moon skins would be Ahri Irelia and Zed because while he is hated by the board I would like to see maybe him Shen Akali and Kennen together just enjoying the blood moon festival without their current conflict interfering. Maybe it could be before Zed attacked to monastery. Ahri and Irelia are both Ionian so it just seem to suit them imo.

Haha you do have already commented on this, but it was my old post (which got deleted, because I accidently posted it on the wrong board).

Blood Moon Ahri seems like a perfect fit! She is from Ionia and her whole “life-essence-stealing“-thing just feels right on a demonic skin! And her orb would make a nice blood moon. BM Zed was something I thought of too, but he already has red particles on his PROJECT skin, so I thought he might not be the best candidate. As for Irelia...it could definitly work too, but her classic skin already has a lot of red and I think other champs fit the demonic BM theme more.

Unfortunately riot probably wont change the color of her orb because of confusion for the opponent for when her passive is up but yeah I would love to see a blood moon skin Ahri . As for Zed I feel like while they could be similar the blood moon skin would probably be white and red to keep it unique compared to project.

Now that you mention it,Zed and Shen do work together to capture jhin,so what if they made blood moon jhin and zed,they could release a small story about how Shen,Zed,Akali and Kennen go undercover during the blood moon festival to hunt down jhin who is hiding among the masses(or actors).

I mean I doubt this would happen,but it would be kinda cool.

Blood Moon Kindred or Trundle are better that Diana because they aren't redundant.

Essentially I mean that it adds no real flavor to Diana beyond Japanese demon folklore.

Maybe redundant isn't the right work. But I see Blood Moon Diana as a skin that has the same effect as say, Noxus Darius. It's already tied to an key aspect to her character and skins are usually exploring Alternative universe or different ideas that the character can explore.

Noxus Darius is just the normal Darius, true. Diana is the aspect of the moon. A Blood Moon skin would show her as the incarnation of the Blood Moon. Turning from a misunderstood woman who just seeked for appreciation, but became a castoff for the actions she was forced to do inorder to survive to a demonic creature, leading an army of BM demons into battle to conquer this world in the name of her Blood Moon god(-ess). Atleast thats how I would see it. So for me its not just Diana in red. Its something similar to Blackfrost Anivia, which could also be seen as just Anivia with darker ice, but it depicts her in an alternate fantasy or possible future where Lissandra and the frozen watcher have conquered the Freljord/ the whole world.

Honestly, Blood Moon Diana seems like one of those "Low hanging fruit" kind of skins.

As Ralanar already mentioned, skins explore alternate ideas for the champions. It'd be like making Elderwood Maokai imo.

Like I said in another comment, BM Diana turns her from a misunderstood heretic to a demonic creature, who leads an army of BM demons to battle to conquer this world in the name of her BM god. Atleast that how I would see it. So for me it is an alternate fantasy, while also somewhat keeping a core effect of her (being the chosen of the (Blood) Moon). We already have such a skin with Blackfrost Anivia. An Elderwood Maokai would do the same thing: Keeping a core element of him (mythical guard of nature), while exploring an alternate fantasy (right now hes the last of his kind, figthing against the corruption of his home, an Elderwood skin would make him a guardian of the peace of the forest).

Do skins like Noxus poppy, Star Guardian Jinx or Full Metal Rammus fit the lore of the champion? No, they don't, because they explore an alternate fantasy for the champion and thats what a skin is mostly supposed to do in my opinion. Just a small number of skins represent a champion in its past/future like Pre-void Kassadin or Human Ryze.
