A Legendray For Shen

With Shen's rivals, Zed and Jhin, getting legendary skins, I thought it would only be fair to at least start the discussion on the possibility of a legendary skin for him in the future. Now as you all know, I'm not a Shen main, nor do I know any personally, so I don't think I'm the right person to suggest skins for him. However, if any Shen mains would like to share their ideas for legendary skins, be them self-made or stuff you found on the internet, you are welcomed to do so.

Keep in mind, everything posted here is just ideas. Riot will not instantly implement any of this stuff into the game, nor will they drop everything they are doing to work on getting anything here into the game. These are just concepts, nothing more, nothing less. If Riot uses an idea posted here, that's great, but that's not the point of this discussion. This discussion is merely to brainstorm ideas for a Shen legendary and give our blue ninja some attention.

Reverted shen. He looks like shen, but he also actually plays like shen.

Would be interesting to see. A bit odd though, considering his Q is what "activates" his other sword. Still, I'd like to see how Riot tackles that.

Yeah, but old Shen used to have two swords on his back if I am not mistaken (even in the picture you showed he still has those two swords). Kinda to remenber the good old times (and it is more badass too ahah).

Same situation, neither a Shen main nor do I know any. But I will give it a try.

Slayer Shen Don't know how other people think about it, but as a fan of zombie movies, I would love to see the zombie and slayer skin lines returning some day on Halloween. I think Shen could rock the punk style of these skins.

Project Shen Maybe a bit much to ask for, since Shen is already part of the Pulsefire skin line and therefore already has the hightech theme, but I think he should get a skin in Project to fight Project Zed and Jhin.

Shounen skin line Shen We already know the name of it, but I don't want to spoiler it here. Depending how this skin line turns out to look like and if Shen isn't already part of it, I think Shen could be a good candidate for the Battle Club.

I would love for the Slayer skins to come back as well, and I didn't realize how much I needed to see punk Shen until now.

Unfortunately, I don't think Shen would have much to do with Jhin in PROJECT, since Jhin is just doing his own thing and I don't think he really cares about either him or Zed in that universe. Though, they could make Shen a part of Ashe's group, G/NETIC. That way he'd have connections with Zed, at least.

Yep, the Shonen skin line is a definite possibility.

Forget the legendary, he should get an Ultimate.

Extremely unlikely.

Looking at the trend with Lux and Miss Fortune getting the last ultimates, they will most likely keep giving these skins to extremely popular champions. Ultimate Jinx skin, when? :^)

Though the original set up was older champions since it was originally Ezreal, Udyr, Sona and Lux. MF is an older champion too but hers was just bumped up cause it was originally created to be a Legendary (they just liked some of those other designs so made if form swap).

Jinx has a Legendary already so hers isn't happening unless they start to give champions both Ultimate and Legendaries.

Well, there was a time they said that they will give every champion just 1 legendary skin. Then God King Darius happened, showing that they don't care about stuff like this anymore.

If they come up with a good concept for an ultimate skin, they most likely won't care if the champion already has a legendary skin, either.

I mean cho, trist, heimer, list goes on...They all have two technically xD so legendaries were a lie for a long time.

All these don't live up to the requirements for legendary skins nowadays, hence why they are all legacy. They have to rework all these skins.

This statement was made when the new standards for skins were already established and they talked about their decisionmaking about who is going to get a legendary skin. So yeah, technically you are right, but these don't even really count as legendaries in Riots eyes when it comes to that.

And that a champion with a legendary can't get an ultimate skin is just an assumption.

Hence why I said "technically". Trist and Heimer already had reworked but it was before they fully fleshed out those kind of skins during the reworks, so they are out of luck.

It may be an assumption but so far it's been proven by the fact that none of the champions with Ultimate skins have Legendaries and vise versa.

True, but this can change every second. People assumed that Ultimate skins will stay standalone instead of skin lines and this has been true for years. Then, boom, Pulsefire Caitlyn.

I want Spirit Guard Shen instead of gauntlet like Udyr his sword would be the medium. The sword would take atribute of the animal and after a few level Shen start to transform with it too.

As for what animals he should have I don't know. Also it would be cool lore wise because they are both technically spiritwalker.

As someone who usually plays a lot of Shen (learning some supports right now), I kind of feel like a legendary skin would be a waste on Shen. He doesn't have very much visual flare, so I don't know how a legendary skin could really do a lot with the visuals.

That said, some kind of Arclight skin with angelic visuals could be pretty sweet. Big angel wings on the ult, some kind of embrace of angels visual on the W. Might be nifty.
