{Champion Concept} Xander, The Elite
Hello Summoners! Aejis here, just bored and thinking of some ideas to throw out their to the league community. My Idea is to make a Champion who benefits heavily from Attack Speed like Riven does with Attack Damage. Or Ryze, with Mana. So I made Xander, The Elite. Hope you enjoy.

Role: Slayer/Fighter (Skirmisher) Intended Lane: Top/Mid Alliance: Piltover/Zaun
LORE: Xander comes from the far and distance future of Piltover, city of progress to the past to warn Jayce and Heim about the horrors of Techmaturgy. In his timeline the world is ran by Viktor, who has found a way to live eternally, and his army of will-less bionic soldiers. Xander is an original citizen of Piltover and was taken as a young child and transmuted into what was suppose to be a conscienceless Hex-Tech-Warrior.
However with his strong will linked into his Hex-Tech Gear, Xander broke free from his entrapment while out on a very important mission and went rouge. He set out to find answers about his past and what was going on. For a long time, he searched for the books on Hex-Tech's history of technology and how it has grown out of control.
He stumbled across a man named Jayce, who was said to had lead a rebellion against Viktor, almost ending his reign over Runterra. According to the documents Jayce was on his way to learning how to reverse the negitive effects of Techmaturgy and had plans on saving the world with the help of Runic Power. Xander knew there was only one being who would be able to help him, so he set out to find the one known as Zilean, The Chrono-keeper. After seeking for what felt like eternity, he stumble across the old sage at the peak of Mount Targon. Zilean was already aware of his arrival. The sage spoke wisdom into Xander's ears, stating that it was destiny that lead him to this moment. Ironically, Zilean proclaimed that it would be destiny that protected him on his journey, because he knew what Xander's purpose was for finding him. Zilean prepared an ultimate, rare, time rune for the young Xander, and sent him back eons to fulfill his objective. To find Jayce, protect him, and bring light to his dark world.
Passive: Hex-Tech Gear
Innate: Xander's Abilities have special Attack Speed Scaling
Xander is accompanied by two Nano Pods that hover behind his shoulders, When Xander basic attacks a Champion, the Pods will fire one laser-shot each at the same target dealing magic damage. Nano Pods only fire in-between (In the middle) of Xander's swing timers. Nano-Pods have 450 attack range. In-Addition, each attack from Nano-Pods apply On-Hit effects, but deal magic damaged based off of Xander's level (Not base attack damage).
- Nano Drone's Damage = 5 + (7 per 2 levels) + (20% of Bonus AD/AP) Magic Damage
NOTES: Xander is designed to be an attack speed Champion who focuses on DPS so I gave him a passive that works well with Attack Speed. Keep in mind that since your Nano Pods fire in the middle of your swing timer resetting your swing timer will not cause your Nano Pods to fire at all, so building attack speed is essential for consistent additional damage.
(Q): Lock-On!
Xander sends his Pods in two separate arcs in a clockwise/counter-clockwise direction to seek the 1st unit hit, allowing each of them to hover around the target and "free-fire" on it for 3 seconds. While the Nano Pods shoot or seek, Xander gains 50% Movement Speed. Both Pods can hit the same target at the peak of cast and fire simultaneously at the same target.
_ (Nano-Pods passive does not apply while this ability is active.)_
- Number of Shots per second from each Pod= 1/2/3/4/5 + (1 Additional Shot per 0.5 Attack Speed
- Damage = 7/9/11/13/15
- Mana Cost = 30/35/40/45/50
- Cool Down = 11/10/9/8/7 Seconds
- Range = 750
- Spell Type = Double-Arch Skill Shot, goes 750 range, then returns if nothing is hit. Pods can Lock-On upon returning.
This is Xander's harass tool and possible wave clear. Xander can send his pods to attack the target freely while Xander farms or set's up a play. This ability could also be used as a great finisher for running or flashing opponents.
(W): Blade of Alacrity Passive: Xander gains an additional (25%) of your bonus Attack Speed
Gain 1 charge every 4 Nano Pod hits (Max Number of Charges Scale with Attack Speed) or every 20/18/16/14/12 seconds. Xander can expend a charge to side-step a target within melee range and slash them for 50/75/100/125/150 + (0.5 Per attack Damage).
- Damage = 50/75/100/125/150 + (0.5 Per Attack Damage)
- Number of Charges = 1 Charge + (100% Attack Speed, rounded to the nearest whole number). Maximum of 4 attacks.
- Mana Cost = 70 at all ranks
- Charge Time = 20/18/16/14/12 seconds
- Cool Down = 0.2 Seconds
- Range = 250
- Spell Type = Single-Target
NOTES: B.O.A. is used as a bursting ability that may catch opponents off guard if you are under estimated. Building attack speed ensures that you will gain stacks much faster, increasing your damage output significantly. Think of this ability like a short ranged Audacious Charge [Xin Zhao's (E)] but always charging to the opponents left of right side. Which ever side is furthest away from Xander at the time. Also, Lock-On shots DO count as Nano Pod hits
(E): Safety Roll!
Xander executes a diving roll in a target direction which makes him un-targetable for the duration.
If used on an enemy in Melee Range
Xander unleashes a kick to an opponent's stomach which knocks them back very slightly and safety rolls Xander away from his target. Kicking Champions slows the them by 60% for 1.5 seconds.
Basic Attack reduce this skills cool down by 1 second.
- Roll Distance = 550
- Mana Cost = Free
- Cool Down = 20/18/16/14/12
- Kick and Roll Range = 175
- Skill Type = Mouse Cursor Dash/Single-Target spell _ NOTES: Safety Roll is a cool tool to use to dodge, disengage or reset a fight. The cool down is pretty long, but can be reduced by basic attacks to even the playing field. Use Safety Roll wisely!
(R): Surge of the Elite
Xander over-clocks his tech, pushing his body and gear to their utmost limits. For the next 5/6/7 seconds, Xander gains increased (50/65/80) Attack Damage and (20%) Life-Steal
In addition, Xander disables his other active abilities, gaining additional bonuses for each ability based on the ranks.
- Attack Damage Bonus = 50/65/80
- Life Steal Bonus = 20%
(Q)
Every 3rd melee basic attack causes Nano-Pods fire a single yet powerful laser, dealing magic damage to the target and then burn them for the same damage again as true damage over 3 seconds. _This effect is linked to and increased by ranks in Lock On _
- Damage = 100/130/160/190/220 + (20% of Bonus Attack Damage/Ability Power)
- Damage over time = 100/130/160/190/220 + (20% of Bonus Attack Damage/Ability Power) Over 3 seconds
(W)
Xander's original (Melee) basic attacks deal additional damage and strike enemies in an arch in front of him. Base Damage is increased increased by 0.2% For every 1% of Attack Speed. This effect is linked to and increased by ranks in Blade Of Alacrity.
- Deals: 50/75/100/125/150 + (.20% For every 1% of Attack Speed) as additional damage on melee attacks
(E)
If an enemy unit is out of Xander's basic attack range, but within 300/350/400/450/500 units, Xander's melee-attacks will cause his Pods to act as boosters to rapidly dash him to and through the target, damaging them, and knocking back enemies in the dash path and around the target. Targets can only be knocked up once. This effect is linked to and increased by ranks in Blade of Alacrity
- Dash and Slash Damage: 100/125/150/175/200 Additional Damage + (0.1%% Bonus Scaling per 1% Attack Speed)
Example: 2.5 Attack Speed = 25% Bonus Scaling
