Passive- Being of Absorption

Thaddeus gains bonus stats by the number of total wards placed in the map, and does not gain an extra ward stack to get the extra bonus stats if such 2 wards were placed to each other by 1000 range. Eg. Having 200 wards placed all at baron pit itself is considered 1 ward placed.

Pink wards are considered 2 wards, but still doesn't stack if pinks & greens were placed near to each other.

4 wards: Gains bonus 300/380/460 HP 6 wards: Provides 3%/4%/5% bonus movement speed for himself & nearby allies by 500/700/900 range 8 wards: Gains 15%/25%/35% bonus Armor & Magic Resist 12 wards: Reflects incoming damage by 7%/14%/21%

Q- Fake Out

Cost: 45/55/65/75/85 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 Cast Type: Skillshot Cast Time: As fast as Bard's

Thaddeus sends out a beaming stroke of light, dealing magic damage of 45/60/75/90/105(+20% Max Ability Power) to the first enemy hit, and then spreads out in a cone behind the target, dealing half of the damage the target receives. The first target being hit will be stunned for 0.4/0.6/0.8/1.0/1.2 seconds, while the enemies behind the target hit will be slowed by 25% for the same duration. Champions hit by either the stun or slow will receives doubled CC (damage stays the same).

W- Dark Passage (Was there a champion that already has this ability name? O.o)

Cost- 10%/12%/15%/18%/20% HP Cooldown: 60/55/50/45/40 Type: Point-&-Click on terrains Cast Time: 1.5 second

Has an ammo system of 2 charges, and a cooldown of 0.5 seconds in between 2 passage casts.

Passive: Thaddeus creates an aura around him. Allies near Thaddeus & himself will be able to execute minions & monsters that are below 70/90/110/130/150 HP.

Active: Thaddeus creates a dark passage from a selected area. Allies who step into this dark passage will be immediately transported to Thaddeus's location. Thaddeus will be self-stunned during the cast time. Passive will be disabled during cooldown. (Range of passage cast- 1500)

E- Journey of the Ghouls

Cost- 40/40/40/40/40 mana Cooldown- 9/9/9/9/9 Type: Point-&-Click on walls. Range: 600

Thaddeus teleports to a wall, and gains bonus 20%/24%/26%/28% attack speed & penetrates 10%/13%/16%/18%/20% enemy's armor & magic resist for 2 seconds, with each auto-attacks he lands refreshes the duration. Cooldowns will be reduced the nearer he is to the wall he teleports to.

R- Absolute power

Passive: Gains extra 35/45/55 gold on kills & assists on champions & epic monsters killed.

Active: Thaddeus doubles his "Passive- Being of Absorption". Stats being doubled depends on how many wards being placed.

Playing as Thaddeus

  • Using "Journey of Ghouls" to go behind enemy in lane & use "Dark Passage" to bring your jungler in can improve ganks.
  • Be sure to remind your teammates to place more wards to gain the bonus stacks. (Teehee :3)

Playing against Thaddeus

  • Getting rid of wards will reduce Thaddeus chances of getting his bonus stats.
  • Thaddeus becomes tankier the more wards enemy places, so items like item 3153 can counter him.
  • In teamfights, try spreading out to reduce your chance of getting hit by his "Fake Out", as the CC doubles on champions.

Thoughts on this champion concept

I have been thinking for a long time, 2 months I think, of how to fit this ward power idea. At first, I thought of a champion whose's ability can be boosted by the trust of his own teammates, which is Thaddeus's passive. I figure that it would be kinda fun to have a champion who is dependable on his own teammates to be able to buff him up, even though Thaddeus can still handle with himself if he gets trolls in return.

And so, I have created this concept. Not sure if the numbers & skills are suitable, but hope you like it.

First off, I like the fact that this champion brings extra incentive for everyone to ward, as if there wasn't enough already. Secondly, this champion is essentially hard-countered by red trinket... I think this is a decent concept that simply needs a bit of refining.

As for the passive the health bonus from 4 wards is quite a bit, but that's not necessarily a horrible thing; the movement speed, however, is overly modest. Id say up the move speed values personally. You could possibly increase the damage reflection to multiples of 10 as well without much problem, it's not like there's a shortage of over-powered abilites/passives in this game, and that's not even a bad thing.

As far as the Q is concerned, it reminds me of a Graves ult, an Ashe ult, and a Lux ult rolled into one in terms of its functionality, other than the range, you can see why I would view it as such. Its not necessarily a bad idea, but conceptually, why would an undead (im assuming thats his theme from context, or simply an unholy being) use light as a form of damage? Also, i'd reconsider the name since it does not seem to have a lot to do with the ability, but that's just me.

Onto the W, Thresh, you are thinking of Thresh's Lantern I believe. In fact other than the fact it roots you in place and is placed on presumably a larger range its functionality is EXACTLY Thresh's Lantern. It's passive, however, could be interesting. I would increase the base value from level 1 to at least 100 since it could be redundant when laning with an ADC, whereas setting the base value to 100 would make the ADC's last hitting a breeze. All that said im not sold on this ability.

The E: Teleporting... to walls? That is.... Actually really interesting I think. I don't know. I see a lot of functionality in it as far as Baron and Dragon fights go, and in quite a few other areas as well. Im not sold on the additional functionality if he is meant to be a support since he wouldnt necessarily benefit that much from Armor/Magic Pen, or Attack speed as he likely isnt building AD.

The Ultimate/R: Greately increase the passive or it wont have any affect on the game at all. I've seen a lot of gold generation passives of champions and they're all about as effective as Ashe's old Hawkshot passive, in other words, not at all, or just barely. Dravens passive is the prime example of a good, if not overpowered gold generating passive. As for the active affect, fairly lackluster but fair all the same.

Overall: I like the idea, just needs to go back into the over for a bit. B+ For sure. Like i mentioned earlier im not really thrilled on the names, I think you should try and be more thematic with them. I'm not a professional game designer, nor do i have any real experience in the field, but i do harbor a love for this game, and general knowledge of how balance works. Anyway, take my opinions with a grain of salt and know that this is a fairly decent concept. Good job :)
