the rune system is INCREDIBLY barring for newer players, and I understand that it's not the main focus at the moment, but hear me out on this.
Why not have runes on sale with champions and skins? this would

yeah, I wish they were free too, but riot's got other ideas, so this is the best option until they realize runes are inherently toxic towards newer players.

I believe runes being free is a step in the right direction. OR at the vary least...upon reaching either level 20 or 30 they should give you 1 free rune page worth of runes. Your Choice. you get to pick 9 marks, 9 seals, 9 glpyhs and 3 quints. Simply because a wise man who has invested IP into runes and not champions will always have an unfair advantage over the player who is slow buying runes. Player one may beat player two in lane even though player one is better in game simply because player two entered the game with a full rune page.
At the very least, One full rune page of runes.

I want runes to be free. But riot is seemingly set on not doing that, so I'm trying to find ways to reduce the cost of them.
