As someone from the old boards, jokes and comedy used to be amazing. Comics, art, stories, there was time and effort dedicated to making League jokes and we loved it.
What does laughing fish offer? A gif with a vaguely league related title. It's boring. It's the candy bar of comedy. There is no substance or effort put into it, it's just a copy-paste job that seems to perfectly collect upvotes and nothing more. I'll admit, I've done it too, but I didn't devote my entire existence to it. It disappoints me that the front page is covered in this sort of "comedy" when there are people who put time and effort forth into concepts, art, stories, music, whatever and are ignored.
LF, you're probably an alright guy and I don't hate you at all. But seriously, I don't respect or admire your brand of comedy at all. :\

Fuck rewarding shitposters. Why would a shitposter get a permanent token for their contribution to the game's history when all they've done is spam dumb posts in the Boards?!
Why not recognize the contribution of many players who give amazing feedback and help shape the game, why not recognize the contribution of actually great LoL content creators?
All he's done is spam .gifs. There are members of this community that have contributed hours of their life helping players and sharing their game knowledge with others that want to improve and advance, spent hours making this a better game. Why is a shitposter better than them?

Honestly? Nope.
Not going to deny LF efforts, it ( is a he or a she?) adds charm to the boards ( even thought is not an original charm, still makes them more intresting ) and sure seems a swell guy/lady. Still there are two reasons for which i would not like to see something dedicated to it.
First, it is LoL related only because he posts on LoL boards. Its humor is nothing original, only its applications are ( which is addmirable in its own!)
Second, and most importantly, it will open a Pandora' s box where people on the forums would start becoming Diva's for the sake of recognization culmination with the addition to the SR. There are already Diva' s over here ( Malicious Metal, or whoever posts about Cassiopeia ) but at least have their own functionality, and i would like to not have emergent Divas for the sake of being recognized.
Third, people who do not roam the boards ( and most importantly the english american ones ) won' t get the reference and probably never will.
