Kalista Rework?

Kalista is currently sitting a position where her passive forces her to be weak, otherwise she's literal cancer.

A rework would solve this problem.

Health: 527.24 (+81) Attack Speed: 0.682 (+2.63) Health Regen: 6 (+0.57) Armor: 18.24 (+3.62) Range: 575 Magic Resistance: 30 (+0.42) Damage: 74 (+3.18) Move Speed: 325

Passive:

Essence Volley: Kalista rips a portion of her soul as Essence to cast abilities and basic attacks. It lingers in the target for 8 seconds unless it dies or if Unstable Spirit is casted. She begins with 120 Essence and scales to 200 at level 18. Kalista’s basic attacks cost 5 Essence.

Kalista’s damage decreases by 0.6% for every 1% of Essence missing.

Allied Spears: Kalista begins the game with The Black Spear. Kalista can use this on an ally, marking them as Oathsworn. When within 1000 units of her Oathsworn, she gains additional effects on her abilities.

Q - Pierce: Kalista fires a soul spear in the target direction, dealing damage to all enemies struck. Deals 80% damage to minions.

Damage: 80/105/130/155/180 (+50% AD) Cost: 20 Essence Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds

Oathsworn Bonus: Slows the first enemy struck by 20%.

W - Unstable Spirit

Passive: Kalista gains a charge of Unstable Spirit periodically, up to a maximum of three charges. Kalista respawns with two charges.

Active: Kalista consumes a charge of Unstable Spirit, dealing damage to herself and ripping her spirit from a target, transferring all Essence they have to her. She deals extra damage based on the amount of Essence the target has.

Damage: 40/60/80/100/120 (+20% AD) Bonus Damage: 0.8/1/1.2/1.4/1.6 (+0.4 per 100 AD) * Essence Cost: 8% of current health Recharge Time: 26/24/22/20/18 seconds Static Cooldown: 9/8/7 (scales with ult) seconds

Oathsworn Bonus: Kalista’s next two basic attacks deal 4/4.5/5/5.5/6% of the target’s missing health as magic damage.

E - Steadied Spears

Passive: If Kalista and her Oathsworn hit the same target within 2 seconds of each other, the target is marked with Spirit’s Oath for 4 seconds. If Kalista uses Unstable Spirit on a target with Spirit’s Oath, she deals extra magic damage to the target and lowers the cooldown of Pierce by 2 seconds. This effect can not occur on the same target more than every 8 seconds.

Damage: 80/100/120/140/160 (+40% AD)

Active: Kalista’s next three basic attacks pierce through their targets, dealing 70% damage to the target behind it. If Kalista is under 30% Essence, she gains attack speed for three seconds.

Attack Speed: 20/25/30/35/40% Cost: 60 Essence Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds

Oathsworn Bonus: Kalista also gains 8/10/12/14/16% lifesteal for 1.5 seconds if under 50% Essence.

R - Fate’s Call: Kalista draws her Oathsworn towards her, placing them into stasis for up to four seconds. Kalista’s Oathsworn can right click the target location to dash there, stopping at the first enemy struck, knocking up all surrounding enemies and landing their attack range from the target.

Knockup Duration: 1.5/1.75/2 seconds Cost: 40 Essence Cooldown: 120/90/60 seconds

Don't bother making a post about reworks if you haven't read riots design values. They have stated time and time again that they are goin g to do reworks were they can get the most value and benefit from the rework. Kalista wasn't released too long ago and he kit works (might to feel perfect but it works). Whereas you have other champs who either need minor tweaks that don't require reworks or you have full blow messed up kits like Yoric who need to be addressed before champs that work in thier current state.

Switch the W and E, because this W is basiclly her E and it would help Kalista players feel like she wasn't changed too much.

This idea is cool but has too much hidden power. Percent lifesteal, attackspeed, etc. while under X% essences. Riot doesnt like hidden power.

I suggest you give her jump on her Q only because now you've put more power into her Q. Also I dont think her W should deal damage to you really, that doesn't seem to fit an ADC.

just... no. There are champions who are bigger cancer and NOT weak who deserve a rework more. Like Annie, Tryndamere, Rammus, Sona, etc.

Most of these are also on the list of Riot to rework

I'm actually glad she is no longer played, yeah the last nerfs were not necessary, and this is why i hate so much Riot games because they balance some champions based in lcs. Kalista needs a rework. Her passive and her rend are super toxic and unfun to play agaisnt. Rework her kit, she is impossible to balance.

Kalista wow this is like such an rework for kalista but I have to agree the passive with the slow might way to much..talk about CANCER + EBOLA = GG

Just another CertainlyT champion for ya - broken or intentionally gimped because broken design.

I like some of your ideas. I doubt they'll gain any traction though, as Kalista is all about LC$BIGPLAY$

Taking away her hop is like taking away Aurielions Sols stars. They are annoying but its what makes him, him.

i feel like Kalista should have the hop somewhere in her kit still. Its what shes known for. Probably not on her passive though
